Neverland Watamu Villas

I liked how quiet it was ....and the host was so excellent to us thanks for an amazing stay will definitely be back

Fijne ligging, rustig en comfortabel.

De stroom viel soms uit, wat gebruikelijk is in Kenia. Hierdoor was er soms geen airconditioning of was de waterdruk minder.

La struttura è formata da due ville con al centro la piscina , si usa il piano terra che è spazioso e ben arredato , la piscina sempre pulita e’ un valore aggiunto molto piacevole inseriti in un bel giardino tropicale . Noi abbiamo usufruito di un cuoco molto bravo e disponibile !! Il custode ci ha reso il servizio spesa ( a pagamento) e la lavanderia anch’essa a pagamento. Nel complesso mi sento di consigliare questa struttura.

Confusione iniziale su quale fosse il nostro appartamento, bagno pulito male ( wc e doccia ) , distanza dalla via principale e dai negozi , mal funzionamento della energia elettrica con il disagio di non avere né aria condizionata né il ventilatore e l’ acqua calda per i primi due giorni .

The salt water pool was awesome. The courtyard was swept and pool skimmed each morning. The villas are cute, and the on-site staff were amicable and responsive. AC in the bedrooms is a huge bonus. Neighborhood was pretty quite.

Staff didn't seem prepared for our arrival, even though I had reserved the villas months ago. Showers had hair in the drains, and one didn't drain at all. One of the showers had a short or something in the water heater that nearly electrocuted one of my friends. Staff was responsive to these issues, and both were resolved quickly. The dishes and utensils provided were not clean, and we had to wash anything we used before using it. The host was not very communicative/responsive to my questions leading up to our stay.

Tutto ottimo! Struttura, piscina, personale e pulizia! Si riesce a raggiungere la struttura con i tuk-tuk di zona, questo vale per tutte le strutture a Watamu. Nel caso in cui non si riesca a contattare autonomamente un tuk-tuk, il personale della struttura è sempre disponibile a cercarvene uno.

Nulla! È tutto ecceziale

The pool was very clean and refreshingly cool! The rooms were as expected and really nice and spacious. The staff were really friendly and check in and check out was flexible for us as there were no other bookings that same day. Overall a very good stay and great value for money!

Unfortunately the kitchen and the appliances in the kitchen were quite dirty which could be better, especially for a self-catered kitchen. We also found the water pressure was not so great in the bathrooms, and one bathroom specifically had some problems with electricity current running through the sink water.

La nostra esperienza alla villa è stata splendida! La casa è accogliente, ben tenuta e situata in un luogo tranquillo e rilassante. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Syria, Harry ed Edward, che si sono occupati della cucina e della gestione della casa con grande disponibilità e gentilezza. I loro piatti erano deliziosi e sempre preparati con cura — ci hanno davvero fatto sentire a casa! Sempre attenti e discreti, hanno contribuito a rendere il nostro soggiorno sereno e piacevole.

Tranquillita silenzio privacy

La stradina per arrivarci è un po' scomoda a piedi o in bici, ho avuto un po' di disagi con la corrente

Very attentive service from the two guys on site... for example accompanying us on Day 1 to the supermarket and helping carry back the shopping. We really liked the building... Great use of both local and recycled materials in its construction. There was an excellent rooftop from which you could watch the sunset. The grounds were lovely and well maintained with coconut trees which the guys would get and share with us. The local beach was a short walk (or motorbike ride) away and very clean. The journey into central Watamu was less than 10mins on motorbike or tuktuk. Pool was kept very clean daily.

Internet could have been more stable... but would advise visitors to get a local Sim.. this avoids any issues and also allows you to use mobile payments which is more convenient than cash and far more widespread than card.
