Arkadia Hotel

Every part of our stay at Arkadia Hotel was wonderful - from being picked up at the airport, to dropped off at the end of our time in Zakynthos, there isn’t a single part I could fault. The hotel is located on a beautiful part of the island, and feels like a quiet retreat to unwind in after exploring the island (or to relax at for the entire day). There are several restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket, all within a 15-20 min walking distance, as well as a small stone beach with crystal clear water - perfect for swimming/snorkelling or sitting by with a coffee. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, and a modern bathroom. We chose the side sea view rooms and couldn’t be happier with what we received. We ate at the hotel several times throughout the week - both lunch & dinner. Everything is home cooked and we genuinely couldn’t compliment it enough. As someone who doesn’t eat meat, there were plenty of options, and on the special Greek night they were more than happy to make me a vegetable moussaka. We rented a car from the hotel, which was a super simple process that we’d definitely recommend - especially if you’re wanting to check out some of the other areas of Zakynthos. It was great to be able to sort this out at the place we were staying, so convenient. The highlight of our stay was the people who run the hotel. Angelos, his daughter Sotiria and the rest of the family were all so kind to us throughout our whole week in Zakynthos - giving us great recommendations for food, restaurants and places to visit on the island. The service they provide is nothing short of excellent and I can see why so many reviews call this out. Thank you for making our first trip to Greece full of lovely memories - when we come back to Zakynthos, we will 100% be booking again. It’s been a pleasure. Thanks again!

Camere pulitissime con letti comodissimi, posizione perfetta per visitare l’isola e servizio di noleggio auto super efficiente. Ottima cucina greca al ristorante, ampia scelta di drink al bar e piscina ideale dopo una giornata di mare. Un grazie speciale al sig. Angelos e a tutto lo staff, sempre cordiali e disponibili. Consigliatissimo! Spotless rooms with very comfortable beds, perfect location to explore the island, and a super efficient car rental service. The restaurant serves excellent Greek dishes, the bar offers plenty of drinks, and the pool is just perfect after a day at the beach. Special thanks to Mr. Angelos and all the staff, always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Se proprio devo trovare qualcosa, suggerisco di anticipare l'orario della colazione. If I really have to find something, I would suggest moving up the breakfast time.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine kindness by the owner, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself was spotless-immaculately clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The food was nothing short of incredible! Every meal was a delight and truly the highlight of our days, making our vacation ten times more enjoyable. A special shoutout to the owner and his daughter at the reception-they went above and beyond to make everything available and ensured every guest was well taken care of. Renting a car directly at the hotel was a seamless and very convenient addition that made exploring the island effortless. If you want a place where hospitality, comfort, and amazing food come together perfectly, this hotel is the one! We cannot recommend it highly enough and would return in a heartbeat.

La piscina era calda, molto buono il servizio ristorazione. Staff accogliente e disponibile e camere ampie.

Sulla colazione potrebbero impegnarsi un po’ di più. Il frigo bar vuoto potrebbe essere un malus. Il servizio di pulizia buono, soprattutto per il cambio giornaliero di tutti gli asciugamani, ma sarebbe preferibile un’attenzione in più nella pulizia sotto i letti.

De eigenaar gaf ons absoluut geen fijn vakantiegevoel. Het was echt naar zelfs! (Dit is ook te merken aan de toon van zijn reacties op mindere reviews) Ontbijt om 8u30 waardoor je met uitstapjes amper kunt ontbijten. Als je vraagt om eerder te ontbijten, is dat absoluut niet mogelijk en dat hoor je op een hele arrogante toon. Heel vreemde ervaring! Avondeten gereserveerd om 21u. Om 21u15 een kaart gevraagd 😳. Niemand die naar ons toekwam. Eigenaars liepen elke keer langs onze tafel maar niemand meldde ons dat het lang zou kunnen duren. Ook niet een broodje aangeboden gekregen om het wachten te verzachten. Om 22u45 gevraagd hoe lang het nog zou duren. Antwoord gekregen dat ze met ‘priorities’ werken en dat we nog maar moesten wachten! Uiteindelijk om 23u05 ons avondeten gekregen. Was wel lekker maar enige communicatie dat het lang zou duren was heeeel welkom geweest. Spiegel in badkamer niet boven wastafel …lastig voor mannen om zich te scheren 🤭😁 Volgende keer zou ik in Planos een hotel boeken want locatie is ver van alles.

Das Personal, angefangen bei den Betreibern bis hin zu den Mitarbeitern, ist unglaublich freundlich und kompetent. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas, und der atemberaubende Blick auf das Ionische Meer macht das Essen noch genussvoller. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist bemerkenswert; kein einziges Staubkorn oder Haar war zu finden. Das Essen, das den ganzen Tag über serviert wird, ist durchweg köstlich. Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte probiert und waren von jedem einzelnen begeistert. Der Parkplatz bietet ausreichend Platz, ist sicher und verfügt über Sonnensegel, die die Autos vor übermäßiger Sonneneinstrahlung schützen. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, da alles schnell erreichbar ist, aber gleichzeitig weit genug vom Trubel entfernt, um Ruhe und Entspannung zu gewährleisten. Vielen Dank an das großartige Team!
