Catamaran Corfu Aparthotel

Nous avons séjourné durant 5 jours dans l’appartement. Nous avons été accueillis par la propriétaire qui était très très gentille. Elle nous a aidé pour trouver les bus afin de faire des visites, nous a conseillé sur les lieux autours. Nous étions au Rez de chaussée, l’appartement était très mignon, bien décorés. Gros plus pour la zone de dons, qui est une super idée et devrait se retrouver partout!

Petit bémol pour le lit qui était dur et la grande pente à monter pour accéder à l’hôtel (mais j’ai l’impression que c’est partout à Acharavi)

El apartamento era grande, habia de todo en la entrada por si necesitabas coger cualquier cosa y las vistas espectaculares.

La limpieza debia ser más cuidadosa. Habian manchas en el sofá que tuvimos que limpiar nosotros y algunos utensilios de cocina también estaban sucios.

The size of our apartment was a lovely surprise,very spacious and airy. We had early morning sunshine and sun on the balcony at other end of the day.The hotel is up in a quiet street,a little way from town centre and very peaceful.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

The pool was colder than the sea. The shower curtain constantly stuck to you when showering and the bathroom floor became an ice skating rink once damp.

This aparthotel was the best option I could have chosen for our stay in Acharavi, everything was absolutely great! We stayed in a delux studio which was very spacious for two people and I have nothing negative to say about this place. Compared to other apartments in Corfu for similar or even higher price, I was positively surprised with the standard and comfort of the studio - it actually resembled a one-bedroom flat with a separate kitchen and living room area, just without doors ;) The furniture and bathroom were quite modern, once again compared to most of the apartments that I could see in Acharavi for similar price. The place is clean, our towels were changed 3 times in 10 days and the room was cleaned and bedding changed. The bed was very comfortable for my back as I can't sleep on very soft mattress. The swimming pool wasn't huge but there were usually barely any people there so it felt almost private. The hotel is located on a slight hill so you need to walk uphill for about 10 minutes when returning from the city center but that's Corfu for you and thanks to that the area is very quiet and almost rural. If you're looking for a place to party a lot then you might want to choose something else ;) All the staff was very pleasant and helpful and I absolutely loved the idea of a space in communal area where the owner/guests leave things like spices, cosmetics, beach towels, toasters, irons and many other bits and bobs that you might need but don't have to buy on holiday. Only the weather unpleasantly surprised us with a lot of clouds and rain but Catamaran had nothing to do with that ;) If I ever decide to come back to Corfu, I honestly would not bother to look for any other place and we would definitely come back to this aparthotel!
