Modern look and feel. Room was clean. Restaurant food was good and fair value. Room was quiet (ONLY if you had the window closed)

The room had no air conditioning, as it didn't work - we managed to raise this as a problem and the staff came into the room to 'fix it' and they just confirmed what we had already told them... that it wasn't working. They assured us it would be fixed the following day... it was broken for our entire stay. The window needed to be open most nights but then we would be woken early hours thanks to the loud busy street. Oh and none of the plug sockets worked in the room except the one behind the tv (which didn't work) The staff were not very helpful. Reception was left unattended almost all the time, the staff seemed to be sitting around the restaurant making it difficult to approach and ask for help. To leave and enter the property, for some reason we had to go though the door that leads directly into the restaurant, instead of the reception. This meant awkwardly walking past people eating their food with bags or anything you would be carrying to get to the room. You have to pay at the END of your stay despite confirming the price before arrival with the perception you would pay before (like is common on this website...). Not a problem as long as the staff member charging you, charges the correct amount, which they didn't. I have been chased to pay an extra sum on top to meet the full amount agreed after our stay, which is fair and correct, but it is an inconvenience to sort an international bank transfer due to their mistake.
