Rex Residence Hotel

Amazing views to the sea and the beach. Very good breakfast which was totally worth it. Our room had a sleeping couch, not a bed, but it was very comfortable with good mattress like proper bed. The room was clean, well equipped, all you need for cooking own food. Everything modern and felt pretty new / well maintained. Good electrical sockets. Great bathroom with nice shower. Blackout window blinds. Great pool area with sun beds. Great balcony, with a table and chairs, big enough to have drinks or eat, and of course enjoy the views. (We never had to use the folded table inside the room). Awesome staff. Central location -- 5 minutes walk to fontana delle sirene / shopping streets, 5 minutes walk to supermarket (Coal). Plenty of bars and restaurants. Lots of clothing/footwear/souvenir shops from low to high end range. Several markets nearby with local produce.

A minor inconvenience -- parking at the hotel is extremely limited / cramped, and you need to pay extra for it. Although hotel staff said there's a free parking lot about 700m from the hotel somewhere, but we didn't use this.

The location of the hotel was perfect, easy reach to beach, restaurants and shops, perfect location. The breakfast was decent amount and the pastries were fabulous. Looked forward to taste the pastries every morning. Absolutely delicious. The swimming pool, perfect, the patio had plenty of space and nice looking furniture. The rooms had everything necessary to cook and have a pleasant stay. The air-conditioning system was very useful. Still can't get over the view from the balcony, stunning.

Didn't expect to have to pay for the beach, which was expensive. We just didn't know it works this way, first time in Italy. But we walked to the free beach, luckily not too far away from the hotel.
