I liked everything.

We stayed in the economy studio. It was clean simple accommodation. Had stove sink and kettle, basic things so you can prepare simple food. We ate out mostly so not a problem. The swimming pool area is beautiful, clean and quiet. It's fairly quiet out of town, a bit of road traffic which does stop at night. Beautiful views. A nice quick walk to multitude of eateries and the beaches which are lovely sandy ones. Simple breakfast orange juice, coffee, 1 meal either a choice of breakfasts or omelette and toast. I would recommend ths place for a nice chilled stay with lovely pool. From the reviews I thought that Alakanas and Alykes was like a village but on coming it's actually got 2 strips with loads going on and the beaches are lovely. We visited lagana and kalamaki after and I realise that Alakanas/Alykes is very laid back and much preferred it I'm hindsight.

The beds and pillows are very hard. I like a firm mattress but these are quite hard and the pillows too. Although breakfast is OK, it did get a bit samey and there's plenty of choice down the town area if u don't mind walking for breakfast. The bathroom is tiny. Not sure what the better apartments are like.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool area was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful

Staff are really friendly, helpful and the rooms are large. The room was sparkling clean every day. The pool side area was well kept and quiet. The new bar area they opened serving food and drinks were a great addition to the studios.

The staff were very pleasant to deal with and friendly. Housekeeping was exceptional, changing our towels daily, making our comfortable bed up and offering to wash the dishes as this was self catering. We received extra pillows upon request and the floor of the apartment was cleaner than we have ever experienced throughout the many years of our travels. The snack bar on premises was very handy and reasonably priced. There was plenty of parking available at the property. Being the last guests to leave for the season, the proprietors very kindly allowed us to stay in the apartment at no extra cost until our late afternoon transfer arrived. They waited patiently until our transfer arrived. Never experienced such consideration by hosts. The pool area and garden is maintained immaculately with ample sunbeds available in a tranquil setting. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely nothing.

this is a superb family-run hotel - it is just far enough away from the core resort but close enough to walk there and to the seafront. Im in my 50s so this was totally perfect

Clean, fresh, well maintained, well laid out, excellent pool and pool bar. Friendly and pleasant staff.
