Great location and friendly staff

There was building works going on and we were not warned about this . There were strong chemical smells which made me feel quite sick when we arrived and it was noisy. The bath mat wasn’t fresh and the shower didn’t work properly. The room was very tired looking with holes in the walls and also breakfast was very limited ! All in all we found it very underwhelming and disappointing stay .

There was work going on at the reception which was next to breakfast room every thing seemed dusty . Felt not clean , no mirrow near a plug socket to dry hair . Felt like it was someone just playing at , felt more like a student’s place than a hotel .

Brilliant location, central to Cheltenham shops and bars etc

Nothing really to dislike. Clean and tidy. The only observation I did make is that some of the furnishings could be updated? Though what was there was usable, just a bit old fashioned.

Fantastic continental breakfast.
