Villa Sofia

This was a very last minute short break to do some work research. In all honesty I was not expecting much because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the price obviously. I liked the fact that my little abode was cleaned every day and I was left with fresh towels. I liked the pool, most afternoons I had it to myself. I liked the hospitality and friendliness of Γιωργος Κουλουμπρης the owner, and his staff. I liked that it was only about a 20 minute walk to the main part of lalyssos, when I first arrived I thought I was in the middle of nowhere. (probably not good fo people who struggle with mobility) The walk back had one steep hill up to the accommodation. I liked that there is parking outside if you rent a car. I liked the cocktails, and the wine. I liked the little bar area , so you could shelter from the sun. I liked that it was quiet. I liked it was only a 20 minute(ish) transfer from the airport. I liked that it was easy to get the bus to Rhodes Old Town.

The one thing I did not like was my accommodation had no air conditioning BUT I knew this when I booked it, so it is my responsibility. There was a fan in the room but it wasn't the best. The other apartment's are air conditioned though. The room I had was very small BUT again I knew this, I am just highlighting it to people that might be considering the cheapest room.

L accueil et la gentillesse des hôtes. L'appartement répondait totalement à nos attentes. Le ménage et le changement des serviettes étaient fait tous les jours. La piscine également. Tout était parfait.

Les moustiques mais cela ne dépend pas des hôtes.

Nothing! It was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

Spacious, clean, well equipped, hot water, loved the balcony. Plenty of room for my yoga practice. Quiet, peaceful location. Great pool, used it every day. Staff helpful and friendly

Could have had more comfortable seating on balcony. Safe deposit box very expensive. Initially thought it was too far from town but got used to the walk and enjoyed it.

The host (Georgious) was very friendly with a good sense of humour. He had a great rapport with all guests. The daily cleaning service was very good the place was very clean.

The apartment was very cramped for 5 people. Other than that, it was great.

The hotel staff were friendly, kind and very helpful. The room was comfortable.

If you don't have a car it might be difficult to reach, because it's not in the city center. I love walking/hiking but the very hot weather didn't help.
