Photos failed to reflect property. No kitchen,tv,2nd bedroom, sitting area.

Location great - but a totally misleading advertisement for this place ruined the stay.

Booking.com implies it is the property in the photos: the panoramic views, lounge, the facilities. It is NOT what is advertised, it is a basement studio flat that suffers from noise issues in the property above, has no TV nor microwave as advertised, and although being located in a super location feels very much like you are a cramped afterthought with absolutely zero privacy. The whole “split” of the apartment makes it feel like a grubby money-heist, a maximisation of profit over customer experience. Hotel Continental owns it and after a tussle they agreed to a 50% refund but it does still seem like everyone involved is messing this up badly. Do not book here.

Shocking considering its owned by a hotel Sparce inside these things you would expect as standard it wasn't until I paid and booked I found out about the lack of parking which added another £40 to my stay if this was the case from start it should be taken of the overall price also these issues were raised the morning after first night and know one contacted us to try and resolve these issues not good

Excellent location and very clean

Being ultra picky - the entrance / kitchenette area has very nice red floor tiles , however they were quite heavily splattered with white paint, which is not the best initial impression. The kitchenette is limited to a sink , draining board , a couple of shelves with plates, cutlery etc and a fridge- the apartment is certainly big enough to incorporate a toaster / micro wave.

Perfect beach front apartment next door to the Oyster House. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants/pubs all within easy walking distance. The apartment was newly decorated to a high standard.

Advertisement is misleading as there was not a TV or Microwave. There was a kettle and well stocked tea/coffee facilities but no other means of making a breakfast, so a toaster or hob/grill would have been nice if you required it. Apart from the sofa bed there was no table or chairs to sit at and eat breakfast either. Lovely bathroom and free toiletries , but no toilet brush ! A mirror in the bedroom area would have been nice rather than keep walking into the bathroom where the only mirror was over the sink. It's not clearly stated that you are required to check in at the Hotel Continental which is a 10 minute walk away. There are no on site parking facilities, which we were made aware of, so we parked in a nearby overnight car park, not a problem, although free parking at the Hotel Continental is offered, but again this information is not clear on the site so would have been nice to know when booking.

Location is very nice. Comfortable bed

A party of approximately 12 people (they may not have all been guests) in the apartment above. There's clearly no sound insulation fitted between the apartments, you can hear every footstep, voice and dragging of suitcases across the floor. There is No fully equiped kitchen in the ground floor unit. Couldn't find the wifi password and no telephone in the room to phone the hotel reception who own the property (It's not a private host as suggested in the advert). No mention that you don't check in at the property (as would be expected of a private host), you have to walk half a mile up the road to collect the keys from the hotel that own the property, then walk back. Then you're expected to do the same trip to drop the keys off when you leave.
