Station Rooms

A very nicely-appointed room in an unassuming location. Very comfortable bed. The bathroom/shower cubicle was beautifully designed too. A great stay for what I needed, close to everything. Impressed.

Best bring ear plugs if you need silence due to proximity of the roads either side, but not too bad. Also, eye mask if you need black out to sleep in the early morning daylight.

Unfortunately what we arrived to was not what we expected. The entrance into the building, the door, was permanently unlocked and open, there was another door at the back that was permanently wide open, in some areas there was no lighting and where there was lighting it was dim. We made it to outside our room and there was a door open next to it leading into a dark corridor with no lighting. We could not enter our room so called the number provided to us, to which we received no response. We did not feel safe at all and booked a different hotel. I do not recommend staying here, especially if you are young, alone, or are with children.

Excellent location and size of the studio. The studio has everything you need for a comfortable stay!

A few times I've stayed at this studio there was no hot water especially on colder days. I did reach out to the contact number provided but no one reply back and I was left again with no hot water. I haven't stayed there since and now use different places to stay in Winchester.

Should be renamed THE KEBAB HOUSE ROOMS!!! It’s part of the same building and owned by the same people, perfect to eat your Kebab that you can order from below your room, but then you want to leave immediately. Unbelievably noisy until 4am!!!! Very hot in the room, more heat than the hot sauce on my kebab. The front door leads into a horrible noisy hallway and is left constantly open, at least there’s no risk of spilling your kebab on your way to your room. Shouldn’t be allowed to be accommodation unless you’re coming home from a night out in the early hours. It was at least clean!

The location was great. Walkable to train and all main street facilities. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe

A two minute downhill walk from the station. And perfectly placed for all the sights, shopping of Winchester. Dont let the seemingly salubrious entry put you off. The area is busy and I felt safe, once up the stairs it was easy to get in and the room is beautifully designed and clean, spacious with everything you might need and more. Great touches like the charging cables on both sides of the bed that work for most things, plates and proper knives and forks in case you want to eat a takeaway in an elegant manner rather than out of the box! Full length mirror (10/10 - so rare to find), and good lighting, soft or full. Bottles of water in fridge and at room temp. I cant think of anything that was missing. There is traffic noise at times but with windows closed it was faint. The ticking of the clock was more annoying and kept me awake!! A bit of noise as other room occupiers came and went but that happens anywhere in any hotel or rooms. I would book it again and would recommend to friends as well. Not for anyone with accessibility issues as no lift.

Perhaps two coffee bags as I dont drink instant coffee or tea.
