I was contacted few hours hour after booking by the owner and notified that my confirmed booking was double booked and no longer available. I had already scheduled made plans for my birthday stay cation there and now the other properties I was looking at were now unavailable. When booked there were at least three properties showing availability through the renter at different price points. When mine was canceled I should have been upgraded. Instead I was emailed and told I needed to cancel because it wasn't available. Why didn't the seller cancel the booking on their end and deal with booking.com. That was the least they could do.
