Location, pool area and eating area

Rooms were spacious, pool quiet with sun beds available all of the time and the restaurant was great for all meals

Some maintenance needed to finish things to a better standard eg vents to cover pipe holes in shower and communal toilets and shower room facilities not always working.

The pool

Lack of staff, always waiting at pool bar/reception and restaurant. Nikos tried his best but it’s too much work for one person! And he continuously shouted out people’s names at the top of his voice either startling us or ruining our relaxation - very annoying! The waiter with glasses who we mainly saw at breakfast was unfriendly and rude and went out of his way to be unhelpful. The pool bar needs updating, dingy and uninviting, all food comes with chips not everyone wants this! As for the rooms, shower very small, difficult to manoeuvre without getting water anywhere! Beds very hard and uncomfortable- sheets not changed the whole week! Room, balcony and bathroom never cleaned, stains on balcony table and kitchen side not wiped, floor not sweeper or washed - the only thing the cleaner done was to change towels (not when we wanted!) we had to ask a few times and empty bins!! Nothing else, felt disgustingly dirty, I dropped something between the beds and omg there was years of dust and fluff and dirt - totally unacceptable. No room to leave our luggage secure before leaving. We was unable to get dinner at the restaurant whilst waiting for our transfer at 5pm - stated they were closed til 7-7.15!!! Pool area not cleaned properly and Sun beds very dirty!

The location was perfect 2 mins walk from the beach. The pool was very nice, not too much people and a nice and clean. The room was also nice, good beds, however the shower curtain was a little annoying as it would stick on you but it was clean. Airco is working well, it is in the sleeping room but it can also cool off the living room. The terrace in front of the house is really nice and big. The food at the restaurant and at the pool bar is really tasty and very good priced. The pool bar server is also a very nice men but sometimes he is on his phone for more than 20-25 mins or he is away so you need to wait pretty long then to order something. Anyways overall we had a very good vacation here, I can recommend this hotel!

The staff was very friendly, welcoming and nice. The pool area and the poolbar were great. The garden and the area outside the apartment was nice and spacious.

Bathroom was too small, it could have been bigger or better organised.

Location is at the right place in Malia, 2 minutes walk from everything. The value for money is great considering the pool availability and nice restaurant out front.

The beds r uncomfortable and kitchen is bare.

The pool and surrounding areas were immaculate. Loved the walk through to get to our apartment with well tendered gardens and fruit trees. It was very pretty and smelt lovely walking through. When we first arrived we were a bit disappointed that 2 people had to sleep in the kitchen area on sofa beds, but to be fair, we've had accommodation like this before and soon got use to it and they were comfortable and clean. The bed linen and towels were lovely and clean and changed regularly.

The shower curtain. It sticks to you all the time! And people putting there towels on the sunbeds early in the morning and not returning until lunchtime. Minor issues and certainly didn't impact on our holiday experience.
