Das Zimmer bot eine gute Privatsphäre. Zudem ist die Unterkunft sehr schön gelegen. Das Zimmer hatte einen Mini-Kühlschrank, was sehr praktisch war.

Die Leistung passte insgesamt überhaupt nicht zum Preis. Es wirkte alles etwas unpersönlich, wir wurden begrüßt, aber haben keinerlei Informationen zur Unterkunft erhalten. In der Ausstattung war von einer Sauna die Rede. Diese war auch vorhanden, allerdings keine Informationen zur Benutzung, weshalb wir sie nicht nutzten. Die beschriebene Waschmaschine konnte nur von der Gastgeberin selber genutzt werden, was Wäsche waschen sehr umständlich gemacht hat. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, es fehlten aber kleine essenzielle Dinge, wodurch es nicht so komfortabel war - Haken, Kleiderschrank oder -stange, Heizung im Bad ging nicht an. Außerdem könnte man bei dem Preis auch ein Frühstück erwarten.

Superb location with stunning views. The accommodation was excellent and was thoughtfully laid out. The star of the show was undoubtedly the couch, which was ideal for relaxing after an active day exploring the area. It was a relief to leave the TV behind, and in any event, there were lots of interesting books scattered throughout the apartment. Breege is a superb host. She ensured that our stay was comfortable, and we enjoyed chatting with her over the few days.

Nothing springs to mind.

Just awful. Do not book the truck bedroom. No working lock on the door unless you consider an outside slide lock to be sufficient security! You can’t go to a pub or restaurant and leave your valuables in there! The mattress is tiny and not big enough for two adults. Filthy is an understatement. The owner to me is on a massive grift with this. So bad we cut out two night stay short and left after night one. We were given the option to switch on night one to a cabin, which was all she had available to offer us, which we accepted. Although we were told by the owner “I’m not cleaning it for you”. The facility had been used by another family and apparently they had left early (another unhappy customer???) and it had not been cleaned. We agreed to switch as there was no way we were going to be able to fit us both in the truck bedroom and get a decent nights kip! We slept in the cabin where the bedding had not been changed or the bathroom cleaned thinking she’s fine us a favour by at least making amends for the unbelievably appalling accommodation we’d actually booked, but no! We were then charged a full price for staying in there!!!! We were only told that this charge had been added after we spoke with booking.com! She gave us a 50% discount off the second night but made sure she clawed the money back by telling booking.com to charge us for the cabin which was €160. I don’t usually leave bad reviews because I am aware that it’s a business and somebody’s livelihood but on this instance I’ll make an exception! How can I not when we had such a shoddy, disgusting and misrepresented experience? I’ve used Booking.com for years and this accommodation is an absolute grift off the poor tourists that flock through it. It should be banned from the site. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Der Meeresblick ist in der Tat vorhanden.

Die hohen Bewertungen früherer Gäste erschließt sich uns nicht. Die Wohnung die wir bekommen haben lag im ersten Stock und war über eine aussen angebrachte relativ steile Stahltreppe erreichbar. Die Wohnung selbst war sehr spärlich eingerichtet. Die Fenster sind einfachverglast und teilweise schlicht nicht mehr funktional. Um die Fenster (Schiebefenster die nach oben öffnen) offen zu halten wurden teilweise Bücher untergestellt. Das die Wohnung keine Spülmaschine, kein TV keine Mikrowelle hat, hätten wir bei dem Preis dann eigentlich nicht erwartet. Da es aber nicht in der Liste steht (wir werden da in Zukunft sehr viel genauer hinsehen) fließt es nicht in die Bewertung ein. Von WLAN bzw. Internet kann man eigentlich nicht reden. Einerseits nur 2.4 GHz (das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß) und die Geschwindigkeit ist mieß. Da man gleichzeit auch kein Mobilfunkempfang in der Gegend möglich ist (das Signal war immer wieder weg) war die Kommunikation sehr herausfordernd und am Ende haben wir aufgegeben. Das Bad insb. die Dusche haben wir soweit wie möglich vermieden. Sauberkeit (Bettwäsche hatte Flecken, Geschirrtuch auch) naja. In der Summe alles sehr sehr alt. Die Kücke ist eigentlich Sperrmüll und 4 Messer, 4 Gabeln, 4 Löffel usw. für 4 Personen ist auch sehr anspruchsvoll. Immerhin der Wasserkocker war ok. Der Herd ist gefühlt 40 - 50 Jahre alt (noch mit den uralten Eisenkochfeldern). Eine Mikrowelle ist im Übrigen nicht vorhanden. Ein Wohnzimmer mit einer Sitzgelegenheit hat es auch nicht gegeben insofern hat sich unser Leben in den 2 Tagen in der Küche abgespielt. Wir waren dann froh dass wir nur 2 Tage gebucht hatten.
