Bowers Mill Aparthotel

I liked how close the Aparthotel was to the wedding venue. I enjoyed the style of the room & size of the room/view of the lovely countryside. They also gave us extra time to check out.

I found mouldy cups in one cupboard, there were a lot of cobwebs on the chandelier, and there is an area in the bridal suite with no blinds/door, so the light wakes you up (odd design)! There was no reception staff on arrival, after ringing the bell a number of times they did arrive, but forgot to us give key cards to the room (told us the rooms were open but they were not)! The receptionist was quite disorganized, and it would have been helpful if they'd shown us to our room/offered to help take some bags as one guest was heavily pregnant.

Stunning room, beautiful self contained apartment with gorgeous countryside views. The character of the mill was tastefully on show, a really lovely location

Industrial apartment for 4 worked well for us as we were at a wedding in the Venue next door. The noise from the wedding went on well past 1am what with movement of equipment etc afterwards so bear this in mind if you want to sleep earlier than this. Next morning a gym class is noisy too, again didn't bother us but be aware. Brilliant black out curtains and very comfy bed.Very clean but I did find someone else's dirty old white sock under our hanging rail which had been missed. Dee on reception was a gem and very helpful. Would I stay again? Yes, and so would my companions. My daughter loved the trendy style and lighting, but I wear glasses and thought it would be beneficial to have a light over at least one mirror for putting on makeup.
