Folia Apartments Chania

Had a wonderful stay at the Folia Hotel. Everyone who works there is so friendly and greets you with a smile 😊 The facilities were great, location was perfect for my partner and I. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and there is something for everyone! We enjoyed this part of the day especially. We will return to this hotel some time in the future, we had such a restful stay.

Het ziet er allemaal heel netjes uit, goed aangelegd, ontbijt beschikbaar in buffet vorm (hadden wij niet gedaan, € 12 pp of als je af en toe wilt € 18 pp). Wij hadden een studio met zee zicht, dus daar konden we sochtends mooi van genieten met ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel, bar bij zwembad. Parkeerplaats gratis 4 stuks voor Deur ( klein) of te reserveren voor €4 per dag op terrein (stuks of 10 plek) en anders gratis parkeren 10 meter naar beneden in de straat. Supermarkten en eet gelegenheid dichtbij moet je wel naar de beneden lopen, terug is de berg omhoog. Maar daar wen je aan. Handdoeken van de kamer om de 2 dagen verschoond, dus hou daar rekening als je ze meteen in de badkuip doet. Je moet er 2 dagen mee doen. Elke dag de kamer schoon gemaakt Afval weg en Bed opgemaakt. 2x per week linnen verschoond. Je kan als je avonds vertrekt, naar het vliegveld, kiezen voor een douche en handdoeken gelegenheid van €4 pp.

Bij het zwembad verplicht om drinken van bar te nemen, geen drinken van buitenaf mag niet. Handdoeken voor zwembad of strand zijn te huur voor €4 pp. Alleen wij waren er 6 dagen en je kan ze niet gratis omwisselen. Dan is het weer €4 pp. Vind ik een beetje flauw. Bij het zwembad balletje gooien mag niet. Het is een rustig appartement complex. Maar daar kies dan voor.

It was beautiful with many flowers, well-maintained, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. We arrived at the hotel for check in late, and when we called ahead, the owners stayed at the desk far past their usual desk close time to ensure we could check in. We were also able to park our rental car for far cheaper than anywhere else. It was near all the best things in Agia Marina and our room with a sea view was beautiful. We loved our time here.

Loivef the beautiful building. Traditional look but perfect condition. Pool is beautiful. Extremely clean and the breakfast was wonderful.

La posizione.

La gestione del servizio di pulizie in camera (esponevamo il tagliandino alla porta con scritto do not disturb e nonostante questo le cameriere entravano in camera aprendo la porta in autonomia). Venivano messe le mani nelle valigie, lasciavano aperta la finestra ( nonostante avessimo richiesto più volte cortesemente di lasciare la finestra chiusa per le zanzare). Nel biglietto lasciato più volte, richiedevamo la copertura del letto con l’unico lenzuolo esistente ma puntualmente questo veniva rimosso e quindi dopo una giornata molto faticosa ci toccava anche rifare il letto,ormai inumidito. Ultimo ma non per importanza, il giorno prima del check out chiamiamo la reception per chiedere se fosse gentilmente possibile parcheggiare l’auto all’interno della struttura, richiesta non accolta poiché supponevano di non avere più posti disponibili. Al nostro rientro alle 2:30 circa del mattino, notiamo che il parcheggio era completamente vuoto e pertanto c’era tutta la disponibilità possibile. Durante la nostra telefonata inoltre comunicavamo il nostro check out alle ore 5:00 del mattino per avere istruzioni sulla riconsegna delle chiavi e in quest’occasione riceviamo questo trattamento da parte dei gestori : “Abbiamo trovato l’asciugamano data in dotazione nella valigia e non abbiamo trovato il telecomando dell’aria condizionata, speriamo di trovare tutto in ordine nella stanza”. Premesso che non avevano il diritto di mettere le mani nella nostra valigia, anche se, per mancanza di spazio, l’asciugamano era stata poggiata lì e tra l’altro fuoriusciva dalla valigia, quindi non era nostra intenzione portarla, anche perché di qualità molto scadente, ritengo questa dichiarazione gravemente oltraggiosa e offensiva nei nostri confronti, per altro confermate anche da altri ospiti della struttura con cui ci siamo confrontati.
