Cosy Family Home - Coventry City Centre - Entire House

The area was nice overall. The property was also generally ok apart from one thing....here we go...

I have had to wait some time before writing this review as I needed to cool off so that I was not responding when angry. Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was the offensively heavily stained sofa-bed in the front room which absolutely put me right off staying there. There were stains everywhere on it. There was a blanket on top of that sofa which was also stained and when held up to the light, there was a very big round stain in it. I was disgusted and we just could not sit on the sofa so we spent our stay sitting on the kitchen chair and a smaller chair that was also in the front room, They offered to come in and clean it but we did not want to be disturbed by a cleaner as that would be intrusive and mostly we also no longer wanted to stay there. After much back and forth with the property, we ended up staying for the whole duration that we had paid for as they were only willing to refund less than half of what we had paid for 7 days. I could go on and on but I have to limit what I say to keep within the review guidelines

Did not have breakfast

We could not open the back door, we had the key that unlocked it but it would not open. This is not so much a didn’t like more of something that can be put right, the same with the toilet seat was loose and the fan didn’t work In the bathroom. There seems to be something wrong with the bed settee it did collapse some times when sat on. I could see you have a problem with the back garden and drainage, that is going to be a problem. We did like the carpet that was especially for our dog she will not walk on laminate floors. That is one reason we choose this property. Being a hole cosy house was the best way we would describe it as well. Thank you.

the mattress was not comfortable

Situated in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood, easy to reach, quite nice walks around. Shops are reasonably close, town is some 30' walk away. The property had all the necessary amenities and was reasonably clean.

The couch is uncomfortable and needs replacement

Rooms a good size and second toilet downstairs was great. Carpark outside front door very convenient. Hosts that solve issues quickly. Well equipped kitchen. Easy drive into city centre.

Bed in master against the wall - could have been a smaller bed and been able to have a bedside table both sides.
