Excellent value for money, very helpful host

You'd better get there by car because the closest metro station is quite far, but a private parking spot is included in the price.

There was nothing nice. We wanted something cheap and we got something cheap.

Room was dirty and smelly. Sink was leaking. Shower cabin had lots of mould. Walls damaged. Wires sticking out could be safety hazard. Entrance door does not close well. Air conditioning has button missing and could not be used. One broken light.

Nothing.

DO NOT GO THERE! Availability - There is no reception! Even though we booked a room, when the manager finally picked up the phone he said "I don't think I have a room for you, let me check" and then hung up and didn't answer for 20 minutes. As we were about to leave, he texted through whatsapp that he found us a room. As non European tourists we felt very helpless and frustrated. There was no possibility to pay in a credit card. He wanted us to take a taxi to a Change 10 minutes from there on our expense. Had to pay with euros, and fortunately, I had sonme on me. He wasn't at the place, we had to pay and talk with the cleaning lady, which doesn't speaks English. When we wanted to leave and ask where to leave the key the owner didn't respond and with no choice I had to leave the key inside the room without knowing the repercussions. Fortunately, it was a good choice, but I knew it only an hour later when the manager said it was OK. Location - One of the owners of another apartment in the building asked us, "What are you doing in this ghetto?", I think that's enough. When we got out at 8pm, all kinds of unfriendly faces started getting in the building. We were so happy to leave this place. Facilities - we booked a room for 2 and still they prepared the room only for 1 person. Toilet paper on a shelf and not in place, one towel, no soap or shampoo. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!

Nothing, we called the owner on arrival for the key for the room, the owner started shouting at us and hanging up. This left us stranded in middle of Bucharest as we have had planed to stay there for 2 nights also being tired of our 4hr flight journey. Would NEVER recommend.
