Il Casale di Monacella

The property is gated with a private parking area.

There isn’t much in walking distance except for a trattoria.

Monica was incredibly helpful and responsive with any queries. The grounds are beautiful and really well maintained, with lovely apartments. The cleanest pool ever!

The grounds and room were really accessible (wheelchair user) but you really do need a car to get to anything - shopping, restaurants, etc so be prepared to drive. Parking in Sicily is never easy, but if you're up for the challenge then it's fine.

The accommodation and grounds were spectacular. You can see Mount Etna and the sea from the top of the hill within the properties boundaries. The garden is well maintained and beautifully landscaped with ornamental features everywhere you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into it. The property is gorgeous with 6 separate accommodations under one roof. The room sizes were great and comfortably fitted the 5 of us. The property had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Monica was a great host and always checked that everything was ok, she even gave us a map of local restaurants and other places we may need during our stay. We hadn’t originally booked to stay here but after our original accommodation fell well below our standards we booked Il Casale di Monacella via booking.com and arrived 2 hours later. Monica couldn’t have done anymore for us and literally saved our holiday. Thank you Monica ☺️

Modern, well equipped house with 6 apartments, nicely decorated garden and decently sized pool. Apartment itself was very comfortable for a family of four. Each apartment has its own terrace to sit outside and enjoy the time. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Actually everything was as expected - nothing to complain about.

Very clean and peaceful location and the apartment was a great size. Monica was very friendly and helpful - she met us upon arrival and told us everything we needed to know to ensure we had a pleasant stay

We didn’t have any dislikes. Perhaps there could have been some more kitchen equipment such as kitchen knives (unless we couldn’t see them)?

I loved everything, the area is amazing, the exterior of the property is well maintained, a very kind hostess Highly recommend
