Hotel Bratislava Shekvetili

The location was very much to our liking - the hotel is litterally on the beach. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea. Dark sand - much better for a child than stones. We were there before the peak season, so it was pleasantly empty. A completely diffetent atmosphere than in Batumi. Incredibly helpful lady at the reception, who speaks English. She was very helpful with all our inquiries and requests. So giving additional point because of her attitude. Very convenient option with receiving breakfast via room service.

There was no sun loungers available event for rent. There were two, one of which was broken. A coffee-making machine in the room would also be usuful. The standard problem with the shower drain in the bathroom. We did not use the air conditioning, but hanging pipe didn't look nice. Some drawers were not fully functional. You need to give 300 lari deposit at the begining of your stay (to be received back at the check out if all good with the room). We were before peak season so most restaurans and shops near by were closed. But the one open called at Nelli's was really tasty. Approx. 15 min walking with kid. Usually we don't visit the same restaurant but we made an exception this time.

Staff was super friendly and caring. Every request was met gracefully. There were some problems we were facing throughout the stay like not having enough blankets, broken teapot but everything was fixed in a minute after telling the manager. Location was great, right in front of the sea and the view was wonderful. The rooms had almost everything, wifi was working moderately fast, the beds were comfortable, wardrobe was available. Kitchen was well furnished with any kind of plate you will need.

The only problems we encountered were the doors and the prices for breakfast. After research of the neighborhood cafes and restaurants it seems the prices were okay but for 30 lari we got only small portion of scrambled egg, two pieces of tomato, cucumber, cheese and a small khachapuri. So if you want to eat affordably you should consider buying products from a supermarket. The doors had a problem with lock which was causing a lot of inconvenience.

Great location, friendly staff, cozy room with sea view

Cozy apart hotel at the first sea line. Quiet neighborhood, nice sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. The hotel staff is responsible and friendly. I would probably visit this place again next year.

The hotel is far from the town center, so shops and restaurants are far enough. The hotel doesn't provide breakfasts.

The view from the room was amazing, the air conditioning was very appreciated during the heat peaks and the room was big enough. Washing machine was useful. Also, the help from one of the staff members, Anisa, was quick and efficient; she was kind, outgoing, always smiling, and ready to help.

The shower was very tight and there was no place where to put the shampoo bottles. The washing machine was broken and needed fixing (though that was taken care of), and the wifi sometimes would go out.
