Naxos Kalimera Apartments

We really enjoyed out stay at Kalimera. The Hotel has a very nice, familiar Atmosphere; the rooms are spacious, get cleaned regularly; breakfast had many regional, homemade things. The place was clean, staff and especially the manager where very friendly and helpful, providing information and booking tours for us and even transport on one occasion. The property offers free transport from/to port area on arrival and departure days. Great option for families with kids. The pool/breakfast area was well designed and inviting. The room was comfortable. Good restaurants and shops are a 10 minutes walk away, along the beach front. Breakfast was good. A good property for families.

The garden and surrounding areas were not maintained giving an image of neglect. The property really needs a bit of landscaping. The location was a bit out of the way for the main attractions which is a problem if you rely on public transport. To visit other areas of the island you'll need to get a bus back to the main port and there change to a bus for your destination. Buses run regularly but during peak morning time they can be packed and that can cause drivers sometimes to skip stops meaning you might have to wait for the next bus.

Location was very good and quiet as it was not near bars and restaurants and the staff were very friendly and helpful with any enquiries or requests we had no matter what time of day or night

With many island hotels stairs are sometimes the only option as they don't have lifts but staff were there to assist

Our apartment was amazing! It was so clean, beautifully decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent bathroom with fantastic shower.

Although Kalimera Apartmets is located few minutes walk from the beach, it does not seem to be a problem. It is rather great opportunity to walk with beatifull views. Staff, both owners and Katherina are absolutely amazing and helpful. From the very beginning, we have felt really cared for. Quite big and very clean swimming pool is really good facility if you do not want to spend all day on the beach or would like to rest after journey.

Although wifi works quite good in the hotel, the network coverage in the room probably requires some improvement.

We really loved staying with Voula. She's a great host. The room was comfortable with great beds and pillows. Got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was well presented, and there was a great choice of food. We really loved the egg flans. We'd definitely recommend staying there and hope to come back next year

Very friendly staff, lovely location, quiet and away from the crowds, great pool, clean, delicious breakfasts.

Couldn't fault it. Maybe fresh orange juice at breakfast would be nice, but just a suggestion rather than a criticism.
