Koulas Pension - Red Lake

La pension appartient à une famille grecque adorable qui la gère. Ils sont très accueillants. Nous avons été accueillis avec délicieux gâteau fait maison et jus d’oranges, ils ont pris le temps de nous donner des conseils de visites et de restaurants avec carte de Naxos en mains. Ils étaient toujours disponibles pour répondre à des questions. L’emplacement est exceptionnel, à quelques minutes à pieds de la mer et de la plage immense et propre à l’eau cristalline, et tout près du centre du chouette village de Prokopios! La vue depuis la chambre était magnifique ainsi que depuis la piscine nettoyée tous les jours et donc très propre et l’endroit est très calme alors qu’on est à deux minutes du centre du charmant Prokopios. On y retournera!

Mostly close to everything around.

A friendly welcome, lovely room over looking both pool and sea. Sofia was extremely helpful with advise about the island. Room was clean and spacious. A nice short walk into the town for plenty of restaurants and the beach. The family clearly work very hard running the hotel. We got the bus from Naxos town €2 and then asked it to stop at Lagos Mare from there just a 5 mins walk to the hotel.

La douche, pas de rideau donc de l'eau partout dans la salle de bains toilettes...donc pas agréable quand mouillé par terre...

We loved the location; beautiful views and easy to walk in to town. We rented a car because we wanted to see the rest of the island, but if you're staying local you don't need to. The staff made us all feel completely welcome and at home, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment (4 bed) was immaculately clean. It was basic accommodation, but had everything we needed. The pool was brilliant. We would definitely recommend staying here for a laid back holiday.

Sehr nette Begrüssung mit Kuchen und griechischem Charme.! Extrem nettes familiengeführtes griechisches Zuhause. Sehr sauber, Zentral und ruhig gelegen. Super nette Familie. Nette Unterkunft um auf Naxos erstmal anzukommen, um dann den Rest der Insel zu erkunden.

Great location on a beautiful island. The beach and sea are like the Caribbean.

Only one minor issue. The toilet flush needed umpteen attempts to be successful but not complaining because everything else was superb.

The location is outside the center and therefore very calm. The view from the apartment is great: you can see the coast and the sea. There is a direct path to the beach nearby. But you need to be aware that it takes some time to walk down to the beach (-I needed about 7-8 min from my room.) The hotel itsself is quite pretty from outside. It is a very nice place. The bus stop is in about 5 min walk.

The fridge in my room was very noisy. Every few minutes it made a sound like a motorcycle. It was really difficult to sleep at night. The walls are very thin, thus you could hear everything from the neighbours: When they used the toilets, the shower, the TV, their mobile phones... The beds are quite hard. I have rented a studio. In this case windows from the neighbor`s room (window from their bathroom for example) were leading to my balcony. The bathroom smell coming from this window was not always nice.
