Casa Bonita

Casa bonita Became our home away from home:. It was a base for us on our travels, a place we came back to multiple times. We stayed in one of the apartments and in one of the rooms above. My partner is tall and so the massive beds at Casa Bonita were an absolute blessing. Both accommodation are aesthetically pleasing, with a warm feel, tranquil lighting, spacious, well ventilated and have great aircon. When the room required anything fixed or refilled, this was done pretty much immediately. The whole place gets cleaned daily by two friendly ladies. Enough space outdoors and covered for any practice. Have we mentioned, GREAT location? Casa Bonita is within walking distance from everything you’d need. The owners Chris and Harry are super friendly and made us feel welcome. They have a wide wealth of knowledge of the local and wider area and were happy to share this. Diego, who took over as host is one of the kindest most thoughtful people we met. He adjusted easily to different guests and their individual needs. nothing seemed like too much to ask. His authentic hospitality was second to none.

An area of refinement could be, putting up a shady board rack in case multiple guests would be surfers, bringing multiple boards to store them tidy.

Location and facilities

A bit old, place could perhaps need a bit a fresh paint or new deck at the pool.

I absolutely love this place!! The apartment had everything I needed! Comfortable bed, nice kitchen, good size bathroom and shower and quiet!

Great location- close to the water, and if you’re a walker, you can get everywhere you want to go with ease.

Nowhere in the listing did they mention the steep stairs to get to the downstairs apartments. I’m recovering from an injury, so that was a big surprise.

It was a pretty cool place, the shared spaces are great to meet new people and the hosts were attentive.

Chris was very friendly. He gave me a lot of recommendations for food places in Puerto Escondido. Room was clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at la Casa Bonita. The check-in for very smooth and easy and the staff was very friendly. Our room was very spacious and pretty and we felt very nice in there! The location is really great, walking distance to all the beach, the bars, and the restaurants! Would definitely recommend staying at La Casa Bonita
