The position, very close to the beach (5 min walk). Very large rooms.

They didn’t prepare the room adequately and didn’t heat the water in the boiler, so we had to take a cold shower. The door lock was broken and we couldn’t close the door. After going to the reception for the third time, they seemed annoyed. We asked to change rooms, but our request was denied. In the end, we lost two hours of our vacation waiting for the door to be repaired. The pool was closed during the only hot hours of the day (early afternoon in October). The property is old and poorly maintained definitely not a four-star hotel.

I liked the on site parking, swimming pool and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant which you have to book.

The thing that lets it down is that the bed is uncomfortable. All they need is a topper for the thin mattress. I'd like to return there next year, and maybe stay a week if that is rectified.

The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean, but they don’t wash the dishes or provide anything in the room for us to do them ourselves

The receptionist seemed a bit out of mood and rather direct, not very welcoming. The pool itself was great, but there were lots of restrictions to use it. They close it from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., which was quite annoying, especially since we booked this hotel mainly for the pool. It’s also mandatory to wear swim caps, which cost €2 each. We only found out about this upon arrival, as there was no mention of it in the booking description. On top of that, they charged an additional fee, saying it was for environmental reasons, it was 23€ and we were not expecting this!! Overall, I don’t think this hotel really deserves its four-star rating.
