White Cap Village Unit 6

Great location. Just steps away from the beach. Quiet street. I had my own assigned parking spot. Within walking distance to the pier. Linens, towels etc were provided. It was nice not to have all that extra laundry to do when I got home. I would definitely stay here again.

Really the only plus to the location was the distance to the beach; but that goes for most of the properties in OOB.

Upon arrival, there was really no clear markings where the unit was, especially at 8pm. We called the number on booking and talked to who we think was the owner; he then without verifying or asking who we were just gave us the door code for the room. We may have been the last to arrive, but who knows? Then there was the actual unit. Holes in the wall that were “fixed,” but just screwing a piece of plaster over the top. Garbage still underneath the table from whoever was there before; albeit an empty fruit cup, what we can’t sweep the whole unit? Instead of fixing uneven flooring, just have the fridge propped up with an old pizza box. Then comes the most uncomfortable bed I may have ever experienced in my life; so much so that we went to the Target in Biddeford just to buy an air mattress. I would say it was like sleeping on brick; but brick is more comfortable. The unit doesn’t even have the “small things,” like an outside water hookup to clean your feet to stop unit from getting sandy. There are so many units and places to stay in OOB as long as you book in advance; so that’s what I would recommend with this place, book somewhere else in advance because this unit will lessen your stay. Why stay at a smaller sized unit that isn’t even a comfortable place to lay your head at night? All pictures are from inside the room.

would be nice to have an outside place to wash sand off your feet so you are not tracking it in the condo.

The location is awesome. Steps to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the arcades and such. I left my chairs and umbrella set up all day and walked back when needed

A hose outside would have been great to rinse sand off before going inside. Also, more clothing / towel hooks inside would have been very helpful for damp clothing.

It was a nice little place for my husband and I. Close to beach and friends.

There was a problem with water coming up from underneath the floors. It made it damp in the room and our clothes were damp. Other than that the place was great. We told the cleaning woman that came when we were leaving. So I’m sure they are going to take care of it. She was very nice.

Location is great. Price is good. Nice little place. Clean.

Maybe a futon instead of pull out couch, not very comfortable.
