Cucu Hotel El Cuyo

Hotel was lovely and in a quiet spot near the beach. Staff were friendly and service was top notch. Breakfast was nice, although would have been nice to have the option to get it earlier as we are early risers. Room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Pool was nice, more of a plunge pool but very relaxing. WiFi was sporadic and for the price I would expect it to be better. However as it so beautiful in El Cuyo I think you can do without WiFi everywhere - but my teenagers don't agree! If you want a relaxing, out of the way place to stay I would recommend it here.

Nothing comes to mind

basic but modern and comfortable. one of a few comfortable options in this famtastic place that is El Cuyo.

the room faced south so in the afternoon the sun burned too much to sit on the balcony.

Hurry up, go and try it yourself. Our favourit place within our 2 weeks travel in Yucatan. New, stylish and with lots of hearts and constant maintanance from owner and employees. This is the place to go.

My first 10 star rating in over 10 years. Nothing to complain.

Swimming pool was small, 10metres long and only 2m wide. It looks bigger in the pictures. Swimming pool had very cloudy, unhygienic looking water for our first couple of days (but was improved by the final day). No sea views. At $200-$250 per night I think it was a little overpriced but we enjoyed our stay.

GReat location for beach, very clean, lovely people and nice breakfast.

The pool faces the road (track), which isn't clear from the pictures. However, the road isn't overly busy so it's not really an issue, just a surprise.
