Hotel Waldhorn

Looked good from the outside.

Room number 5 appeared to be occupied, beds not made up and food sitting on the fridge, left in a hurry as not sure when occupants were returning. We booked and paid for 2 separate rooms so we had to find alternative accommodation. Rang given number twice and only got voice mail. Very disappointed with the service, lack of communication so far from Sabile and the fact that I had to pay for accommodation at another hotel.

Nothing. We could not even enter the paid room.

It's a disgrace. Definitely don't buy a room here. We had previously sent a message to the hotel that our flight would land at midnight, and therefore, we could arrive at the hotel after midnight. They replied and sent the password of the keybox with the message. All messages exist in the booking application. We reached the hotel by taxi at night and opened the key box located at the outer door with the password sent by message. But the box was empty. It is wretched. We knocked on the door and they didn't open it. We called on the phone and they did not pick up. We think that the room was sold to someone else and the key was taken from there. Beyond disgrace. We searched for another hotel from night to morning. We paid 100 euros for a taxi. Moreover, they took the price of the hotel from our credit card, which we could not even enter through the door and could not reach the staff. We searched outside for hours and we were very cold. Who will pay for our suffering?

the location was almost near to the city and easily accessed by train or bus or U-bahn .

the pillows werent comfortable at all and it was a little difficult to carry the bags as there was no elevator .

It's more similar to apartment, then to hotel. Comfortable room with bathroom and kitchen zone. 10 min to S-Bahn and U-Bahm. In 15 min by walk locates Kaufland. Closer you can find little shops.

A little bit far away from centre, we needed to go by U-bahn (tram) around 30 min till central train station. Please don't put your attention on the bed, I made photo when we checked out.

The staff was very friendly, and it was good value for money. Big windows, that could be opened.
