The property is placed in a lovely area, the facilities were very good and useful.

There wasn’t an oven to use but was lovely

Pillows are shockingly bad. Square, hard and uncomfortable. Sheets were not on the beds and were very confusing to try and put on as there were no details left about which covers should go on which beds.

The size of my apartment was good with a spacious balcony The kitchen was well equipped with all you need to self cater Whilst not useable as it is winter, the pool area looked good Location was quiet with only the roar of the sea Secure parking Energy saving measures implemented within the complex (sensor lights) There are bins to enable recycling outside the car park

Website and all correspondence states check in from 3pm. I was early and asked if it was possible to check in early and was very firmly told I was unable to check in until after 4pm. I understand being unable to check in early, but 1 hour later than advertised seems odd- 4pm is a really late check in time, I was left feeling distinctly unwelcome, however this improved over my stay. Booking through booking.com ensures that you are provided with bed linen and towels (hotel pack) - you just have to make the beds up yourself. You are also charged an exit cleaning fee. However you need to make sure you have everything else - there is no hand soap or basic bathroom toiletries. There is no dishwashing liquid, cloth or tea towel to assist you with leaving the apartment clean as requested. I was provided with 2 dishwasher tablets when I queried with reception about how to clean it, but you will need to go and buy the other items if you don’t bring them and intend to use the kitchen. If you arrive outside of reception hours, you are unable to access the building Having read many negative reviews my expectations were low. The common areas like corridors have carpet tiles that are badly bleached in places which does detract from the appeal but it’s possible they are working on refurbishing as I could smell fresh paint coming from the floor above mine. The sofa in my room didn’t look particularly clean. I didn’t really experience any unpleasant smells like many others had mentioned My initial review score would have been low, but staying a few days improved my experience

Location was good , nice to have onsite parking . Nice to have option of a swimming pool. Reception lady did give us a fan as it was very hot. Which was kind of her and we appreciated that. Having a balcony was good , as the apartment gets do hot. Balcony was handy for drying out all the beach stuff every night. Hotel on the main website page at the bottom, did say it had air-conditioning , but it didn't.

The room was very dirty and smelly , staff didn't seem to care about this at first . Had to request to move rooms. The replacement room was cleaner but also smelt , so they used freebreeze to hide the smell. Very expensive for what you get . I'm stopping down the road now for 2 night's and the place is 10 out of 10 and so much cheaper. The hotel rooms all need a deep clean, mould on the walls , skirting boards have not been cleaned in months and outside has green moss and algae growing on the walls . Kitchen chopping boards and kitchen table had saucepan burn marks . Genuinely the worst value for money place I have stay in , in over 20 years . Only positive we tend to spend most of our day out until early evening. You have to clean the room when you leave , genuinely we left the room so much cleaner than it's prob been in a long time . I think the main issue is the hotel gets the guests to clean the rooms ready for the next guest and the cleaners at the hotel then doesn't really do much else to the room.

The beach with it's promenade was within walking distance

No local shop . No oven in the kitchen

Accomodation met with our expectations and was as advertised. It was within walking distance of both the beach and town centre

Nice pools, although the larger one was a little chilly (thought it would be heated more than it was). Good outdoor seating area (we were in a maisonette).

Would have been good to have some parasols around the pool area, as very limited shade available. Was a little further from the centre of town than I’d realised, took us about 20/25 mins to walk to the main area with restaurants. Location is very quiet though which is nice.

Very poor access to bath and difficult to get out of due to no handgrips
