Sunrise Beach Suites

It was very beautiful view through the room, nice pool the room was clean and big!

The stuff were not there most of the time, If I need it something I could not find anyone in the hotel🤦🏻‍♀️

The pool. If you want to have a relaxing holiday where you spend a lot of time by the pool, this is the place for you. The pool is huge and there are heaps of loungers available around it. There is a pool bar open during the day and they serve simple meals and snacks as well as cocktails. You are also allowed to bring your own food and drinks poolside. Beautiful view of the pool from the beach. Our 2 bedroom apartment was huge and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were made over every day and everything is kept very clean. The staff were very responsive to requests. It’s a 5-10 min drive into town and the taxi was usually 8 Euros.

Our group didn’t have a car so the location was sometimes a little tricky, however, for a group of 4, taxis were affordable and there was a bus stop not too far off. The supermarket and bus stop were about 10 mins walk and the nearest organised beach was about a 20 min walk. You can walk to a beach at the bottom of the resort but it’s small and it had lots of seaweed on it when we were there. If you have a car then the location is no issue. Our apartment could have used a few more basic cooking items, such as a chopping board and a tea towel for example. We arrived at the time we specified but nobody was at reception (front door was locked) and nobody responded when we pressed the doorbell. We had to wander the property to find out that reception is never open and you need to check in at the pool bar. It would have been good to know this prior as this sort of thing can be frustrating after a long travel day. Not a criticism, but good to be aware of: our ground floor apartment didn’t have much of a view. This was reflected in the price we paid. If you want a balcony with an ocean view, make sure to choose the right apartment.

Great views from the hotel. The room was a very good size with a great view from the balcony and a well equipped kitchen. The bar area and pool were great too. The breakfast was good value for money.

The reception was very rarely staffed, the staff who were present were not very welcoming or knowledgeable. Further, the food and beverage side of things can definitely be improved. The quality of food was very poor and made from frozen in most cases. PS. there is a bus stop just around the corner from the hotel which we found ourselves and allowed us to access the whole island- this wasn't shared with us by the staff

Very well run hotel (Aggeliki is awesome!), lovely swimming pool area, great views, helpful staff, very quiet so ideal for families with young kids!

You need a rental car to be more comfortable there and be able to explore Syros

Pool was fantastic, great location for a quiet holiday. A little far away from main town however taxis are cheap (approx 8-12€ each way). There is nearby town which is a 20 min walk and has a couple nice restaurants/bars.

Nothing really - no food can be left out as there are ants.
