Die Lage und die Aussicht auf das Meer sind toll. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es gibt alles was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht. Gerne wieder.

Mini appartamento molto carino, ottima posizione (anche se sono più di 50 metri dal mare...), arredamento curato, pulizia giornaliera (cosa ormai rara), personale gentile e professionale

Giusto una piccola precisazione: nella descrizione delle camere non è chiaramente indicato che alcune si trovano al secondo piano (se si ha qualche problema di mobilità diventa difficile...)

We always read the bad reviews first, but can tell you that all of the ones we read were due to having the wrong expectations. We’re a couple in our late 50’s with only a carryon and a backpack each traveling through Europe for 6 weeks without any reservations along the way. We’re also super hosts on airbnb and understand the hospitality business. On the way to Lecce from Sicily, we wanted to break up our drive and found Pizzo. We read the reviews and were hesitant so we went into town to get something to eat, then checked the location and decided to go ahead and book one night (at 2pm). Gabriella, the host, responded immediately and was able to meet us by 3pm. We booked the standard room, which was lovely, but asked if there was a better view of the ocean. For a small fee we upgraded to an unobstructed view of the harbor (room S). The view was spectacular and could hear the waves all night with the double doors open. The room itself was very modern, super clean, and had a clothes washer. The bed and pillows were the best we’ve had on this trip. The residence is centrally located between the beach area, where there are some bars and restaurants, and the main plaza which is above and up the hill. We loved it so much we changed our plans and booked a second night. KEEP IN MIND - this is a historic town built into a cliff side, if you can’t handle the 37 steps up to the room, you should not visit Pizzo at all; however, if you want to get your steps in, we highly recommend you stay here!
