Truly Verona

La ubicación es excelente, a muy pocos metros de la Arena. El apartamento estaba muy limpio y con un diseño simple y a la vez muy funcional. El personal se comunicó con nosotros en todo momento para saber como iba la estancia y un problema que tuvimos lo intentaron solucionar en muy pocos minutos.

Uno de los días el sistema de aire acondicionado no enfriaba todo lo que debería y la comodidad del apartamento se vio comprometida, en el exterior estaba una ola de calor y eso se vio reflejado en la propia habitación. Aunque el personal fue muy atento para intentar resolver el problema, no hubo una solución factible en ese momento ya que el edificio en el que está el apartamento es antiguo y la fachada no aísla muy bien.

The room was clean, functional and well equipped, although we did not cook there so cannot vouch for the cooker or utensils. Most important to us at the time, given soaring temperatures outside, was a very effective air condition. The location was good, on a quite side street. There was a trattoria at the end of the street, a highly rated restaurant a few hundred yards away and a lovely pasticceria just round the corner. The Arena was about 10 minutes walk away

There were one or two issues with the plumbing. The warm water in the shower took a long time to come through, and the tap on the kitchen sink reduced to a trickle when turned to hot. Although the apartment was on a very quiet street it was subject to strange noises from within the building, which seemed to be caused by the plumbing and possibly by the elevator as well. On a more general point about Truly Verona, I was subjected to a phishing attack before my arrival from a scammer who clearly had precise details of our booking, which points to a security issue at some stage in the booking process.

size of the room, very strong air-conditioner, good TV, large bathroom, pristibe cleannes, close to a variety of restaurants and bars, fast wifi. close to the Arena - the fans of opera would love that.

There was no grocery store nearby - I know Truly Verona is not responsible for that, but keep that in mind, future user. We found 2 grocery stores at about 10 min walking.
