Our host Elena was extremely kind and was always available with tips and advice. Thank you! The apartment is in a newly renovated early 20th century building. The attention to detail with which the whole place was refurbished was impressive. Our aprtment was on the first floor and quiet, windows overlooking the courtyard with the pool. It was our base to travel to Etna cable car station (45min by car). The main train station of Giarrre/Riposto and the Circumetnea train station are both on a 10-15min walking distance.

Everything was perfect.

A great guesthouse with an exceptional host. The suite had everything we needed and Elena was responsive and helpful and just generally very nice. The whole place is very well appointed and clean. The kids enjoyed the hot tub in particular and the beds were very comfortable – this was a very good place to stay.

Giarre-Riposto itself isn’t really set up for tourists to spend a lot of time there and doesn’t have a seaside even though it is by the sea. There are great places within a 20-minute drive, so this could be a good base to explore the region from, but if you don’t have a car and are looking for a seaside holiday, you’ll need a plan to get around.

"A beautiful apartment to relax in and explore Sicily."

Beautiful apartment - particularly loved the pool and the rooftop terrace with hot tub and view of Etna. Elena was the consummate hostess - shared with us the restoration of the property including the uncovering of the incredible ceilings. Thank you Elena we had a lovely relaxing few days.

"Perfect peaceful and chic location in the foothills of Etna"

Perfect location for exploring the east coast of Sicily. Easy to find, lots of street parking and some cool bars and restaurants within walking distance

We had to come home at the end of our break! Nothing negative to report at all
