This location is perfect for someone who wants peace and quiet. View of the mountain is amazing! Walking distance to the beach where you can also eat delicious food at Le Plage (Restaurant Dinarobin Beachcomber). A lot to see in the Southern part of Mauritius.

This isn’t the best place for someone who doesn’t have a car. The closest shop is around 10-15min drive.

Excellent location to be close to Le Morne Brabant mountain esp if you plan a hike there. Super close and so scenic. Quiet area great for relaxation

Very few restaurant options nearby. Wapalapam is highly recommended though they do a fantastic job to serve everyone in the area. All others are inside premium resorts that require advance reservation which are hard to secure. It won't bother you much if you plan to cook since the property has a full kitchen of you can bring supplies.
