8 oDa Marmaris

We had a cosy beautiful house with a fireplace, which looked absolutely amazing. The location is the best - it's the most beautiful part of Marmaris, two steps away from the Castle and museum, hidden between old narrow streets that are all covered by bushes in bloom. Our house was in the backyard, so it was pretty calm and quiet, despite being close to the most touristy parts of town, so I would say the location was everything! The house is also very clean, has a nice air coniditioner, 2 floors, a lot of light, beautiful view at the marina, and the room is equippend with everything. It was very nice they provided us with different types of water, mineral water, soda and even snacks for free, teas and coffees, all the shower things, hand creams, etc. The terrace was beautiful too. The team was responsive and quick to act.

The team speaks poor English, which led to some disappointing misunderstandings: for example, they did not see my stay was pre-paid, asked me about it, did not understand that I said it was prepaid and charged me again. The case was quickly resolved and they really tried to compensate and apologised for this situation, so all is fine in the end, but it left me in poor mood and caused a lot of inconvenience. Also, the bathroom has a very poor door with no lock on it, and no sound proof at all, which makes it uneasy if you are travelling not alone.

The location and view were incredible.

The inside stairs were challenging to navigate, especially at night.

The location was perfect. Flowers everywhere. Two terraces with the room with swing and hammock. Bed was soft. Full kitchen. Two bathrooms. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful.

Only issue was exit lights in the bedroom were bright at night.

Excellent staff Beautifully done up 150 year old 2 storey apartment very close to the castle, marina, and the bazaar Cute courtyard Well supplied with everything we needed including clothes washing chemicals for the machine

Not their fault, but we had to park a few hundred metres away because there isn't any parking close. But they told me where to stop close by, and sent a man out to help take our luggage in, then he came with me in the car to direct me to a suitable parking... well done. The stairs up to the bedroom are very steep - it wasn't a problem for us, but some people may not find them easy We found the whole experience 100%
