Alsahar Hoi An Boutique Villa

The place was clean, well taken care of and had a vibrant atmosphere. The staff were so welcoming and extremely helpful. Our room had all the facilities needed at hand and there was bike facilities which was useful to explore near the local area. We loved staying here and would definitely book it for a second time!

Nicely decorated place, in a good location. The room was spacious and the price was pretty good for two bedrooms and two toilets. The staff was polite and tried to help us with our questions.

It could be much better if the humidity issue was fixed. The room smelled musty, as did the bathroom and everything was damp. The toilet paper was soaked with humidity, along with almost everything else in there. Even towels couldn’t get dry.

Beautiful room with a lovely balcony to sit out on. The staff were very friendly, especially Pinky, who was very amenable when we changed dates.

It was about a 30 min walk from the old town but that’s on us for not checking that first. Still plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes within a shorter walking distance.

Great space for a family, a little out of town so quiet (only chickens waking you up!), pool looked lovely but due to weather we couldn’t use, staff very helpful with information and tours

Room was large and nicely decorated like the pictures suggested, has the lovely villa feel about it. Staff were happy to keep our luggage when we arrived early. It’s an easy 5 minute grab to the old town which is very affordable but quite a long walk after a day of exploring. Pool looked inviting and clean!

On our first night the hot water didn’t work, despite waiting an hour for it to warm up so we had to have cold showers. Staff were helpful and quick to check it the next day but said it was fine. The next night the showers started hot but went in/out of being hot and cold, same the next morning. Might need looking into. Also found a few large dead and alive cockroaches in the shower.

The room was very big and spacious and overlooking a rural town landscape, so you get a sense of being out of the city. It is a very humble and quiet spot. There is also a cafe opposite called A Mya great morning egg rolls and Vietnamese coffee.
