Hotel Ippocampos Studios

We stayed in two different rooms during the two nights of our stay. The first room was in a basement with only a small window (the one in the door), no balcony etc and although very clean it felt a little bit sad. The second room was an upgrade and really nice with a balcony with a great view over the sea and hillside. Both rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, offering a buffet with a large variety of different hot and cold items and freshly prepared food. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

As mentioned above - the first room was not such a good value for money. Otherwise location could be an issue for some people (we choose it for a reason and really liked it) but for someone without transport it is ca 1.5km away from the center along a road with heavy traffic. We had our bikes and were mobile, and we loved the tranquility outside the bustling and loud center of town.

Very nice sunset view of the harbor from balcony. Breakfast was always a delight. Kitchenette in room had kettle and stove top.

About 20 min walk from Adamantas where there are good grocery stores, bus stop, and resto/cafes - but didn't bother us so much.

Forse un po’ decentrato rispetto al paese, ma può in effetti essere un plus per la tranquillità di cui si può beneficiare.

Hotel Ippocampos was a life saver! Our ferry was due to arrive at 2 am and we had difficulty finding a place that would allow us to check in at that time of night. Panos, the Hotel Manager, was so kind and was willing to welcome us in. After walking from the port to Hotel Ippocampos (Yes, it is walking distance from the port, another perk) we arrived around 2:45am, called Panos (obviously waking him up) and he came right down and kindly showed us to our room which was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated!! Panos also drove us to pick up our rental car at the airport (for 15 euros). The breakfast was one of the best we had during our entire 2 weeks in Greece! Absolutely delicious and home made! Sadly we were only at this hotel for 7 hours before we moved on to our next location, however, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel with great location, yummy food and top-notch management!

Es waren leider ein paar fremde Haare auf dem Bett! Die Bettwäsche war aber frisch gewaschen, ansonsten war es modern und sauber!
