Was it low-cost and budget-friendly? Frankly speaking, not really, however it was one of the options with the lowest price/quality ratio for the weekend I stayed in the Kaunas centre. But the property being an aparthotel only with 3 rooms rather than a conventional hotel should play a role in this pricing as well. The location is perfect if you're planning to spend time in and around the Old Town. It is somewhat far from the rest of the city, such as the downtown, the Resurrection Church, Laisves Aleja, or the train station, but they are still pretty much reachable. Check-in and check-out are done automatically; you just need to enter the building, apartment, and room with the provided codes and key. It might have been just my luck, but the property and its surrounding area were quiet enough. The room and the bathroom were clean enough. My bed was pretty comfortable. The amenities served in the bathroom were all of high quality except for the towels. The wireless Internet connection was perfect. I didn't use the kitchen to prepare or cook food, but it was clean and useful as well.

- It would have been better if there had been a desk in the room, or the desk under the television had been larger. - There was no signal on the television. - The towels in the bathroom were so thin and of low quality. You can just serve standard towels. - It is not a piece of cake to find the apartment in the wee hours of the first night in pitch dark, despite the instructions having been sent. The backyard falls into a restricted zone where taxis cannot enter. But it fortunately becomes easy afterwards. - As Kaunas was partially warm enough that weekend, I didn't make a fuss over it at all, but it also got pretty cold at night, and the radiators in the room were not heating. Perhaps I should have contacted the owner to turn on the central heating or used the electric heater... - If you're planning to stay here for a couple of nights, it's fine. But I doubt it's so convenient to stay here way longer.
