Marion Hotel

Location's good. Relatively cheap

They don't have generator nor emergency light. It was unfortunate that we experienced power outage in the neighborhood where the "hotel"'s power line is in. The only compensation was we could extend our stay for free until afternoon which isn't beneficial as we needed to checkout early. Sent chat to the hotel for other form of compensation but no response. No proper handling of the power outage from the management, no information whatsoever, receptionist left as scheduled. Checkin and checkout were a breeze however and receptionists were nice during those process.

The room was clean. The staff was helpful. The location was good with many food options close.

The lighting was obnoxious. The bath fan was too powerful and loud, more suited to a locker room or public CR. The TV had very few channels and did not work well. The room door was flimsy, seemed insecure.

Good location in Marikina City in a relatively quiet location but still with plenty of restaurant options available in the same street. Good Wifi, bed and aircon working well. Would stay here again.
