Location was good

It was such a shame so much could be done to make the room more welcoming. Some pictures on the wall, a bright duvet, not one my grandma could have owned. There was no coffee or water. Had to ask for a fan which was small and noisy. The WiFi didn't work in the room only the hallway. The patio area was a mess. A little tidy up and a pot of bright flowers would have made the world of difference.

Location was great, close to the action but not on top of it. Beautiful lake views. Private garden with table and chairs. Spacious. Private lake access.

Lots of mosquitoes, would have been nice if they’d had some mozzie plugs or repellent. A few basics eg coffee/tea/milk/sugar/salt pepper would have been appreciated

We stayed in 'Cinque Terre' and had a fabulous terrace and view of the island and also great views from other windows too. The views and proximity to town were the best features and also access for swimming to the lake (despite rather wobbly ladder) The apartment was clean and spacious is a little minimalist but no different from the photos online.

More comfortable beds and sofas

Casa di Lago was just exactly what we hoped for - and more - just a short walk from the centre of town where the most difficult thing was deciding which restaurant to eat at. We loved our small terrace where we could breakfast or occasionally lunch - and the views from all of the bedroom balconies. But the best part for us was the private lakeside garden - I wouldn’t recommend it for children who cannot swim, as there is no really ‘shallow end’ - but for us it was simply bliss - time for a much needed relax. Reception staff were charming and very responsive, and there was free parking a short distance away. I can’t wait to return, hopefully bringing family and friends.

Some of the pillows/bedding could do with updating - and although the apartment is in a very quiet part of town, there is some morning traffic before the road becomes pedestrianised for the day - so close the windows if you want to sleep late.

The balconies were small and it wasn’t possible for us all to sit outside together. The WiFi didn’t work in our apartment.

Huge apaetment! Beautiful building. Amazing location -right on the lake, and a few min walk from the old town of Orta San Giuliio. The house is fully equipped, each room have at least one balcony.

The parking is 10 min walk away. The beds were not very comfortable. Could use more/better lighting. We had tk bringbowr own dishwashing soap. And a complementary tea and coffee would have been nice.TV is tiny for such a large room... Nkt thatbwe used it...

Great location. beautiful views over the lake. great staff when checking in. lovely little sunbathing area by the lake with pier and ladder for swimming.

Poor kitchen facilities. No kettle, no chopping board, no cleaning materials, no WI-FI, dreadful shower( tiny and dribbling water) a bed in what was the living room, so really two double rooms plus a double bed in the living room. the place is really basic, and it looks like they’re part way through decorating. it could have been so much better had the description been more accurate, they had left some basics like tea and coffee; a little help like where to buy food.
