The rooms were very beautiful and the staff was very friendly, we had an excellent time staying here. Upon arriving, the staff kindly showed us to our room and we were even offered a welcome drink. The bar and pool area was relaxing and everything was designed very beautifully. Everything you needed was provided in the room, including an espresso machine. The area was very quiet and a bus was needed to get into the main town, however, there were still a few beautiful bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Would stay here again. :)

Not in relation to the space or staff, however, it’s important to note that the buses in the area are not very reliable. We had a stressful morning trying to catch the first bus in order to catch a ferry. Unfortunately two buses passed us due to being full and we were running out of time. Luckily, a kind local offered us a ride to the port.

A warm welcome, great hosts, fabulous chef in a relaxed environment. Close to local beaches, restaurants bars & public transport. Kate, Mike & Mr Stavros were excellent hosts. Andreas treated us with delicious fresh dishes every night. Thank you to you all.

Airplane noise but being close to the airport you’d expect that

We stayed for 7 nights and really enjoyed it. Everything ist very tastefull decorated. Our room was super clean. The whole Mira Team was more than helpful and very friendly. The Restaurant of the Hotel is also very tasty. Especially if you want to have some variety to the regular greek food. Nevertheless you find everything you need for a Holiday closeby to the Hotel. Thank you for having us!

You are close to the Airport. So planes are flying close to the Hotel. And the Hotel is close to quite a busy road. We had no Problems with the noise but this is something you should keep in mind.

We expected a clean pool. The hotel looks better in the pictures than in real.

The rooms were quite big and spacious with a private balcony outside. The staff of the hotel is VERY helpful and super nice - they helped us with any request and even a late check in. The hotel is very close to the airport so good if you have an early flight next day.

The rooms aren’t anything special for the cost of the hotel - I would not recommend to stay here for the whole time of your stay in Crete, but just for a day or two. The area where it is located is not very nice and quite noisy - You can hear the planes from the airport (it didn’t bother us but keep it in mind). The bathroom gets all flooded after showering, which is quite annoying as there is not even a bath mat. It’s a nice hotel for photos but may not be the most practical for a holiday.

The host and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. A great find, good price, convenient location.

Nice design, good beds, relaxed atmosphere and great staff

The location close to the airport has the drawback of regular planes descending at low altitude. Also, as compared to other places we’ve been to in Crete this was less to our liking. Finally, it needs to be said, why the extremely small shower in the bathroom? For us this takes away a lot of the luxury feel of the accommodation, if even 1 additional M2 would have been sacrificed for the bathroom/shower area this would’ve been better in our view. In the end a good stay needs only two things: a good bed and a comfortable shower, and here we are not impressed by the latter.
