Elizabeth Suites

We are very grateful to manager Epas and all staff for such a wonderful 7-night vacation in Chania at the Elizabeth suites hotel. Huge living room, dining room, bedroom, two large balconies with amazing views, where we watched sunrises and sunsets. very clean hotel, rooms were cleaned every day. the pool was also very clean, the beach is literally three minutes away, restaurants and shops are also within easy reach. You can also notice that the bus stop is very close to the hotel. There is parking for cars. I highly recommend staying here and for those who plan to visit beaches and interesting places in the western part of Crete, everything is an hour and a half away by car. see you soon Crete!!!

Great, warm hospitality. Epas and his team did a fantastic job in making sure we had what we needed and was always available and responsive to any questions. Breakfast was fantastic with local produce of high quality. Pool area was pleasant and calm. Location just a short stroll to the beach and several restaurants.

Epas from the hotel contacted us 1 day ahead of arrival. He greeted us himself at arrival. He was very helpful with advice about restaurants and places to see. Breakfast was excellent. Epas served breakfast himself everyday. Lots of choices. One day we went to Samaria Gorge and was leaving early so Epas made us a breakfast package. I have stayed at many hotels but this was both very personal and great service through our entire stay. Would definitely stay there again if we are going to Crete. Highly recommended

The receptionist was very friendly and provided us with lots of recommendations of places to see, activities to do and restaurants to eat at. The pool area was quite nice and we did have a lovely view from the balcony towards the beach and the sea.

The apartment was dirty, the bathroom in particular was bad. I have added photos of the dirt and clumps of hair around the edge of the bath, the grime on and around the shower screen, and the coffee pot which was not clean at all. There were 4 of us staying in the apartment, but when we arrived it was only made up for 2 people. The sofa bed was then very hastily put together and we were not provided a blanket for it. Also, there were only 2 chairs provided for the balcony. The kitchen was not "well-equipped" and the hob was not very powerful, and it was also dirty with previous spills and burn marks (see pictures). The extractor fan literally pushed the air straight back into the room. The kitchen area was small and poorly laid-out, which meant it was difficult for more than one person to be in that area at any one time. The apartment was supposed to come with "1 separate bedroom" but everything was one big open plan layout, which was not ideal for our group of 2 different couples. The mattress in the main double bed was not comfortable while the sofa bed was very short (I struggled to fit and I am only 178cm). For some strange reason our pillows were changed halfway through the week, and the replacements were like bricks! The apartment was also supposed to come with a "walk-in shower", but we were provided with a shower above a bath, which as mentioned was dirty. The water pressure in the shower was poor and the water took a long time to heat up. The pressure and the temperature were even worse if someone used the kitchen tap at the same time. Overall, it felt like the room did not match the description and some of the photos are definitely of a different room to ours. There is no real excuse for how dirty the place was. We were excited to stay here here given the many positive reviews, but we were left sorely disappointed.

I liked it had all we expected, near the beach, nice pool, cozy and spacious room, friendly atmosphere, delicious breakfast. Wonderful sunset view and a lovely long beach. Many facilities in the area : shops, restaurants, farmacies, not very far from town Chania.
