Apartamentos Turisticos Verdemar

We loved the location – right in the heart of Horta, but tucked away from the busy streets. The private parking was a big plus, and the terrace offered incredible views. Waking up to that ocean view from the bedroom was a real highlight. Like most places in the Azores, the people were lovely. When we raised concerns about cleanliness, they responded quickly and tried to help, which we appreciated.

The apartment itself was a letdown. We had to ask for a hoover immediately upon arrival because the floors were covered in hair. While the towels, bedding, and bathroom were clean, the overall condition of the apartment was disappointing. It smelled damp, felt extremely dated, and desperately needs a deep clean and refurbishment. The kitchen drawers and cupboards were grimy and had a musty smell that hit you the second you opened them. The place just felt neglected – like it hadn’t had a proper refresh in decades. With some attention and care, this could be a fantastic place to stay. But in its current state, it's not somewhere I’d rush back to.

Un très bon emplacement et une très jolie vue sur le mont Pico

Le logement est quelque peu vieillissant et les meubles d'une autre époque. C'est dommage car l'espace est vraiment très agréable. Une rénovation pourrait transformer cet hébergement en un lieu exceptionnel

Limpeza e conforto

Het ruime duplex appartement/maisonette met prachtig uitzicht op Pico. Locatie dichtbij alles, bakkerij en restaurants op een paar menuutjes lopen.

Locatie ligt wel hoger/heuvel gelegen waardoor het voor ouderen en/of mensen die slecht ter been zijn moeilijker te bereiken is.
