It's about as central a place as you could wish for -- right in the middle of the historic town. We've stayed before, loved it, and came back. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water in the massive bathroom.

There is no self catering. However the apartment is on the first floor over a restaurant - and they open for breakfast as well as dinner. Parking your car means parking outside the citadel and walking a long way - so if you have a car, be friendly to the guards at the street barrier on the north entrance to the citadel and ask if you can just drive in a drop luggage for 10 minutes: a smile and a print out of the Booking.Com booking record in Romanian seems to do the trick as each time we have been allowed through. Remember to get up very early and hike down the hill and pay the day's parking rate at he ticket machine as the parking. warden makes it the first stop each day to catch out the unwary who havent paid! The two bedroom are liovely - light, airy and the setting romantic; but there is NO DOOR between the 2 bedrooms; that is great for families keeping a watch on sleeping children but it's a bit of a issue if it's two couples making the booking and you want to get noisy !

We loved the spacious rooms and the amazing cleanliness. The apartment had everything we needed and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Animal friendly property, our tiny dog felt like home and enjoyed his stay just as much as us.

Very clean and quiet place. The room and the bathroom were spacious, with everything you need. I recommend!
