Heaven Apartments

Spacious apartments with 24hr reception just across the way. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect as it's only 10 minutes walk from the beach/shops yet very quiet at night. 24hr 7eleven is at the top of the street and is very handy. Trips can be booked at reception which are very reasonable and scooter hire is also available at the hotel. Would 100% recommend it ,very good value for money.

Nice and friendly hotel staff across the street. Pretty central location. Lots of eateries around.

Foul smell from toilet water tank and shower pipe. It was so bad that I had to open the front door and balcony door to air out the room. But by doing so, I was letting mosquitoes in! A/C was leaking water on my last day.

Perception of an apartment and a hotel room is different here. Advised as apartment but nothing more than a bigger size hotel room

Not very close to the beach but a comfortable room, with a nice staff. The room was indeed quite large.

The balcony was not very useful. The fridge was not working very well. Lots of mosquitoes. Noisy sometimes at night because of people speaking on the staircase and the lack of sound insulation.

Normally I don't like to write reviews but I have to. I saw the review of those travel bloggers please don't belive them. It is clean new and cheap and there is no bad smell and the personal is very friendly.

Its a little more far from the action but it is very quiet to stay, I come back this weekend.

As travel bloggers, we spent a long time in Thailand. This was the worst hotel of our trip. Originally booked 2 nights, but stayed 1 night only due to deplorable conditions and poor treatment by the owner’s family/staff. 1. Our room had a putrid smell to it. After notifying them, the hotel gave us a scented spray but it didn’t help much. We assume the hotel already knew about this smell issue, because there were 6+ deodorizers placed around the room when we got there. We've had sewer smell in other hotels in Thailand before, but usually confined to the bathroom, and never to this extent. 2. One of our pillowcases was yellow and stained. We asked the hotel to replace it, which they did. They simply stated “Oh it must be an old one”, no apology. 3. There were little ants everywhere on the floor of our room, and they were climbing up the bedhead and in the bed. We were uncomfortable leaving our luggage open on the floor due to that reason. We decided to signal this issue to reception, and things escalated: the French young man (owner’s son?) at the reception that night offered no solution, and was extremely rude and dismissive of our concerns. He showed zero empathy and even insulted us, saying that this was one of the stupidest concerns he’s ever heard, and that it was normal and expected to have ants in Thailand. The owner (French man) soon joined us, and was equally rude and tried to gaslight us, saying that in Patong (the area in Phuket where the hotel is located) all hotels have similar issues and we wouldn’t be able to find better. This interaction left us in shock, as we’ve stayed in many hotels of similar cost throughout Thailand and have never experienced those issues at this scale, and such poor treatment by the hotel. It was already late so we had to stay the night, but we moved to another affordable hotel in Patong the next day (2 streets away) where we had a clean room without unpleasant smell and no ants, and - most importantly - the nicest staff.
