By the end, it no longer feels like a place you stayed — it feels like a place you belong to. The villa is beautifully planned to offer maximum privacy, with thoughtful architecture that creates a sense of calm and safety. Lush gardens, mature plants, and soft greenery surround the space, bringing peace, shade, and a deep connection to nature. Everything feels balanced, intentional, and quietly elegant. The atmosphere is warm and human. The staff are kind, smiling, and genuinely caring, creating an environment that feels both respectful and welcoming. A special mention goes to Paola, the heart of the residence — always present, always helpful, and generous with her time. Her advice, local knowledge, and cultural insights added real depth to the stay and made everything effortless. Located in Jambiani, one of the most beautiful and authentic parts of Zanzibar, Nyumbani offers tranquility without isolation. The beach, the rhythm of local life, and the soft pace of the village create a setting that is peaceful, soulful, and deeply grounding. This is not just a residence — it is a feeling. A place of comfort, beauty, and quiet joy. If I could, I would buy it without hesitation. Nyumbani is a home in the truest sense of the word.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Sehr gute Lage super nahe vom Strand und vielen Restaurants etc. Super schöne Anlage mit tollen Pools und Zimmern.

Etwas schade, dass es im Hotel ausser Frühstück keine Essensmöglichkeiten hat, aber hat viele Restaurants in der Nähe.

Se volete visitare Zanzibar, Jambiani è la scelta giusta, vista la posizione strategica per le escursioni più belle e per l'autenticità che ancora mantiene, diversamente da altre località dell'isola ormai dominate dal turismo di massa. E a Jambiani, non c'è storia, la scelta vincente è il Nyumbani Residence di Paola e Daniele. Il posto è stupendo. Una meravigliosa oasi di relax, dove il verde è sapientemente distribuito attorno alle due belle piscine, a scandire la privacy degli appartamenti, spaziosi, dall'igiene impeccabile, arredati con gusto semplice ma non banale e completi in tutto ciò che serve. Tutto lo staff fa sentire la cura per il cliente. Ma il valore aggiunto sono proprio i gestori. Paola in particolare, con la sua esperienza e la sua capacità organizzativa ci ha aiutato a pianificare al meglio le escursioni, dalla A alla Z, con dritte che si sono rivelate vere e proprie chicche e all'atto pratico contattando per noi drivers di auto e barche fidati ed impeccabili, con un rapporto qualità prezzo inarrivabile. Insomma, sto parlando di tutto ciò che trasforma una vacanza da 8 o 9 in una da 10 e lode. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa di amici, ma con tutti i confort di un hotel.  Anche la colazione è a mio parere ottima, con crepes, omelettes, dolci fatti in casa e frutta fresca.

Plašs un ļoti labi aprīkots numurs, jauks baseins, garšīgas brokastis. Iekārtojumā padomāts par detaļām, ļoti jauki un mājīgi. Un, protams, šīs naktsmītnes sirds un dvēsele Paola ar vīru, jūs esat miljons. Izbaudījām viesošanos un jutāmies kā mājās! Paldies.

The owners were very welcoming and caring. Rooms/apartments are clean and in good condition. Property itself is located in a very well maintained garden full of tropical plants, it has two spotless clean and never crowded swimming pools. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty. The beach is not that far, some distance assures silence. Generally a very good value for money you pay.

All was good. Nothing to complain about.
