Benjamin's Pier at Laguna Reef Resort

The location & the room had plenty of supplies you might need.

The AC unit was too loud and kept me awake. I had to put a pillow over my head (but I am a light sleeper)

This place was very clean and was in an amazing location not far from the stores and right down the road from the beach.

Very easy check in and out. Beds are comfortable. Little extras for guests to use is very smart and thoughtful. I've been fishing in Rockport since I was a kid and I'm in my 50's now. Location and private pier is awesome for fishing 24/7. Amenities are great. Perfect for spur of the moment or planned longer stays. We only stayed 2 nights but would love to stay longer if the fragrance issue is addressed.

The only two things that would've made this a perfect stay was the ceiling fan light was out and the strong fragrance of what smelled like a cheap man's cologne was overwhelming during the entire stay and never went away or diminished. It was so strong we ate all our meals and snacks out. Otherwise it would've been perfect. Would love to book again if the fragrance issue was addressed.

tired looking, old fashioned, low spec and, with high cleaning charge, very expensive for the type of accommodation. Ground floor view of car park. We have learned our lesson on what to choose for a stop-over

We did not realize this was a private condo in a complex. We thought the complex was a hotel. Not sure if misread the ad on Booking or if it was not categorized by Booking correctly. We thought room would have a partial ocean but mostly garden view. The unit faced the parking lot off the street so for any privacy you had to have the drapes closed because it was on the ground floor. But it was clean and decorated well and the owners made available some great equipment if your purpose was to fish from the really FABULOUS private pier. Pool was great. WiFi perfect. Front desk folks very nice.
