From start to finish this was the perfect apartment to stay in. The host sent the entry details online which were very easy to follow. The hosts live in the building and they are very helpful and attentive if you have any problems or questions you have to ask them about. The apartment is brilliant. Spacious, spotlessly clean, every kitchen appliance you could think of, think about what you have , or want to have at home and it’s there. There is a large smart tv with loads of channels including English speaking channels. The very helpful host Nora showed me how to use it. The Wifi is perfect. Lovely bathroom, shower actually. Strong hot shower. Plenty towels etc, soap and shampoo supplied if you need it. Spacious bedroom with comfortable bed. You can pay at the apartment with cash, but if you want they have the hand held machine and you can pay with card. The apartment is in a great location. It is at the end of Freedom Avenue just off the square with the domed church. Bars restaurants all the way down the precinct avenue. The old town/ / castle is at the opposite end off to the left. About a mile. There is a supermarket on the avenue to the right, a few minutes walk. There is a fantastic shopping mall about seven minutes walk away called Akropolis, yes with a “K”. If you are on the square looking down it , take the road off to the left of the square and you will find it on the right. There’s a massive supermarket in there on the ground floor down to the right. If in doubt, ask your host Nora. Kaunas is a remarkably clean city, just like the apartment, and very walkable. This I should think is the best apartment I have ever stayed in . It is DEFINITELY value for money and I would seriously, highly recommended if .

Fabulous location. I stayed here while in Kaunas for Nord Clinic. The location is fabulous for being close to everything you need. 100m walk to the main street with shops, supermarkets, chemist and ATM. The apartment was kitted out with everything needed (especially washing machine , so travel light and just wash your clothes). Free wifi, tv with everything you need, shower, comfy bed, towels and linens all provided. Absolutely brilliant. Also has a covered balcony for fresh air and sitting outside if town feels too much. There were wash pods and dishwasher tabs provided plus sugar, tea bags and coffee to get you started. Well equipped kitchen with utensils. Even left bottled water for arrival. Towels were soft & freshly laundered. Tea towels and kitchen roll. Comfy bed too with spare quilts if needed. Its not the most modern, but i loved the quaint apartment and absolutely everything you need is provided. Coffee shop, bakery, supermarket selling everything within 300m, its very central but tucked off to the side enough to be very quiet. One of the main must-visit authentic lithuanian food restaurants is literally just up the road too. I must also mention that a friend was checking in on the day i checked out, and i asked the owners to pass on some items to her, which was duly done. Fantastic.

Very sqeaky floor throughout. However. I had no one above or below my apartment so it wasnt an issue for others, thankfully. There is a distinct drains smell but this generally cannot be helped in these historical buildings and wasnt a problem in the apartmemt itself just the stairwell and bathroom. Toilet gel did the job and i just ignored it on the stairs.
