They said free wifi but it's not really like that, I had hot shower (cold water didn't work) so I washed myself on tap water later, free parking, rooms are not bad, beds are not so comfortable, it's not like it looks like

"Basic ideal as stopover hotel"

6.0

We stopped over for one night on our way into Milan. Very basic hotel but clean comfortable and quiet. The receptionist (a male) sorry cannot remember his name was extremely helpful in fact when out of his way with a request my husband had! Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

"Ok for one night"

6.0

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way back from Switzerland. We were just tired of driving and picked the first hotel we saw. For the price of 65 euro, we got a nice room of a decent size, warm and cozy, with a good bathroom. The only thing that bothered me a little was the smell of smoke, despite being the room a "non smoking" one. The hotel is quite big and old and somehow it would need refurbishing. I am giving this hotel the rating of 3/5 just because I have experienced much nicer hotels in the past, but I would consider the Sogno again for a one-night stay e.g. to reach nearby Malpensa Airport.

"Quite place to stay in Novara - easy to reach"

6.0

Staying in the Sogno in Novara very frequently since 2.5 years - never had any negative experience. Very friendly family running the hotel, very good (almost like home-cooking) food in the restaurant in the evening.

"Stay away"

2.0

Terrible, Horrible Disgusting. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst visiting Novara, and never ever again. The hotel staff member from Great Britain made us feel very unwelcome and she tried to make us feel stupid because of our Nationality. Yes, She even openly admitted that she did this deliberately to people of a certain nationality. We could not believe she openly admitted this, and was very proud of it, we where both disgusted with the attitude from this old woman. We travel all over the world staying in many hotels on business and for pleasure, but, could not believe the bitter, acidic, twisted attitude of this member of staff towards paying guests. Its so sad as it reflects badly on her Italian colleges who where great. The hotel is tired, and the room was over priced at €75, otherwise the room was clean and tidy, breakfast sadly a very low standard. Our advice is stay elsewhere or better still stay in a better hotel in Milan which will be cheaper, then use the train to travel to Novara, which only costs €4.20
