The hotel has an air of old-school glamour, and the rooms are spacious, quiet at night and have great facilities, including much needed air-conditioning. The location is fantastic and you are surrounded by beautiful grand buildings and bars and cafes. We loved it.

I never post reviews, but this time I felt I had to. I booked this hotel because it promotes itself as a 4-star property and it also has a high review score. Although the hotel is in a great location, the mattress was in incredibly poor, damaged condition, not just too hard or too soft, but deeply sunken. I experienced significant back pain after sleeping on the mattress and eventually sought medical treatment. I kindly asked the front desk if I could try another bed in a different room, but they told me that all the rooms have the same beds and that changing rooms was not possible. Another issue was that none of the large windows in the room opened except for a small opening of approximately 30 × 30 cm, so it was not possible to get much fresh air into the room or enjoy the summer weather. Lastly, the hotel advertised breakfast, but it was not available during my stay. Again, I never complain and very rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt other guests should be aware of these issues.
