Situated very central, the Villa Igea Capri will be perfect for both travelling for a business trip, as well as for families. Capri village centre is within a 5 min walking distance. When arriving at port Marina Grande by ferry, a Funicolario (do not forget to buy tickets in advance at the island's bus and funicular counter next to the port) comes in handy for carrying you up to the town central Piazza for a reasonable price. Be prepared that the streets are narrow and paved with cobblestone, so best use a suitcase with wheels. - The hotel's staff is exceptionally friendly and caring, it was even possible to put a suitcase of a colleague that did not stay in this hotel to pass the time between check-out and return trip. All in all, I had a thoroughly pleasant stay! - Grazie mille!

Wireless LAN on the rooftop space did not work at every angle, but that's a minor issue. (Side note, does NOT refer to the hotel at all: If you're budget is limited, and as Capri is expensive as a whole, try to use the Cafeteria next to the small roundabout at the end of Via Roma, coffee's cheaper there. Generally consider frequenting restaurants where you will also find locals. Prices at 'typical Italian restaurants for tourists' can get unreasonably priced.)
