We loved the two bedroom suite in Trapani old town which had a well equipped kitchenette and good sized bathroom. Perfect location, quiet street and just around the corner from shops and restaurants - best of all 2 minutes walk from the beach and amazing "sunset walk" We also had two great balconies overlooking the street, lots to see and perfect for drying clothes. We were within walking distance to the port which made it easy to go to the local island for a very enjoyable day trip Access to Netflix and Prime TV were greatly appreciated by our 12 and 14 year olds The option to watch the All Ireland Hurling final on the TV was a major bonus too

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Refined, Spacious, and Seamlessly Located – a Hidden Gem in Trapani Five Places is exactly what you hope to find in a Sicilian coastal town but rarely do—a small boutique hotel, beautifully designed that blends modern minimalism with good function. The location couldn’t be better: steps from the beach, the harbour, and Trapani’s best local restaurants, yet tucked just enough away to feel calm and intentional. Rooms are exceptionally spacious, clean, and styled with a refined architectural eye—clearly the work of thoughtful designers. Parking in the area is easy (a rare treat in historic city centres), and the service is prompt, personal, and impressively attentive without ever being intrusive. If you appreciate good proportions, natural light, and a sense of place, Five Places is where you want to be. Understated, elegant, and highly recommended.

Apesar do alojamento corresponder ao que dele esperava, é vendido como tendo dois quartos, quando na realidade trata-se de uma sala com uma cama dupla, onde também existe uma zona de refeições e uma kitchenette, e de um quarto. Não estar equipado com uma torradeira.

No elevator Small TV

We are a family of four with 7 year old twins. We stayed at a room with two balconies overlooking the old town streets of Trapani. It was amazing! It was what we were looking for. To see how the locals live and go about their daily lives. Fiveplace were so accommodating and always ready to help with dining reservations, recommendations on where to go. They were very accommodating. Pleasure staying here and would recommend to everyone. What a great location!

The apartment has been designed to a minute detail by a highly talented architect. It is a great find in the historic quarter. The staff took great care to meet my needs hydrofoil taxis luggage.

I cannot find fault with the property

The apartment was in a great location, close to the port and everything we needed. The hosts were super kind and welcoming. Everything was very clean, which we really appreciated.

The only thing that could be improved is the living room; it felt like it was missing a few pieces of furniture to make it a bit cozier. Also, the bathroom could use some more storage space for toiletries. Other than that, a lovely stay!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had nice bedlinen and towels. The owners provided detailed and useful information on parking and what to see and do in the area. It had sockets for phone charging by each side of the bed It was well located for sightseeing and the historic centre of town. It was quiet at night. It was modern (in some ways too modern - see below) The shower was great.

Being ultra modern had some disadvantages - The shelves cut at angles meant that only half the shelf was actually usable (in the bathroom and in the wardrobe) although the design meant that the room felt bigger. - The bathroom only had one hook for a towel (but is a two person room) - Likewise the bed only had one bedside light on one side - The electric blackout blind covered the large window looking out to a back street. This meant you had a choice between daylight or privacy but not both. The room feels dark anyway; the walls are painted dark grey. The window needs a light curtain or transparent blind for daytime time so you can have light and some privacy while the black out blind is useful at night. The reception area outside the apartment was boiling hot and airless although on one occasion when we came in, the air con had been turned on and it was cool but most of the time it was unbearable. The room was not serviced on one of our three days. It felt a little expensive for what it was and full non refundable payment was asked for at time of booking which was many months before which left a slightly bad feeling
